I have never thought this could have happened to me, but when I realised I had definitely lost my data on a faulty hard drive I was really caught off guard. I did not really know who was I going to turn to for help. I didn't know if there was hope to get my data back with the disk in such a bad state. All you would want is somebody trustworthy and capable to help you dealing with a problem like this without needing to worry of anything else but your data. Thankfully I got lucky and found Data Detect. I contacted them on a Monday evening, I was called back Tuesday morning. The engineering was extremely courteous, they quoted precisely the worst case scenario for the type of service I needed and explained everything they could do in order to attempt the recovery. By Wednesday I already knew my data could be saved. They kept me updated of every step they made and eventually even managed to recover the entire content of the disk. I work in IT myself and I wish I could be dealing with this level of professionalism every time. I highly recommend this company.

Great, prompt service. Data Detect recovered all of my photos after my hard drive and back-up drive both crashed. The photos of your children being born and their first few years are priceless - I really can't thank you both enough. I will definitely recommend you. Emma

Data Detect recovered 100% of the data we needed and there was 2 failing disks within this raid5. I find this pretty amazing so thanks Ernie and Co. A high level of technical competence, coupled with brilliant communication and friendly service. I suspect maybe a little pricey, but with the results they got for me (recovered nearly all my data on a seriously damaged drive) I'm not complaining, it was $ well spent! I would highly recommend this company to any unfortunate soul in the midst of a data-loss melt-down.

For many years now I have been telling family, friends, business associates how important it is to back up, needless to say I didn't practice what I preached and lost my 250G external drive which contained all the photos, etc. that were precious to me. After getting a quote from a competitor equal to a good second hand car or an overseas holiday I fortunately found Datadetect.
