Good place to go for a good priced feed. They have weekly meal deals and I find the sizes of the meals are still generous. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere.

Nice, relaxed atmosphere, food was great & so close to home too.
We nipped out for a quick sneaky lunch date ;)

Have been twice and the first time our meals were amazing, that of a fine dining restaurant, the 2nd time I ordered the same dish and it didn't deliver. In saying that they did have a replacement chef. Great value and helpful staff. Would definitely go back.

Deception Bay Tavern is a noce place to go and eat and also bet. The staff are unconsitent, one day they are great and the next day they are rude and leave customers waiting but overall it is an average experience. The drink prices and food prices are reasonable..the food is amazing there also.

We were looking forward to finally having a nice eating out date and were quite disappointed by the food. We ordered the $10 lunch meals and they were small. I particularly didn't like that we paid extra for vegies on one meal only to find that the vegies replaced the salad and weren't "extra" at all. However, I really appreciated the little playground they have as we had our two children with us and the environment is clean and inviting.

They have remodelled this tavern recently. I find it cleaner, but the service is still a little slow. Meals take a while, the bar staff are slow and the drinks aren't that cheap. I go here from time to time, but only if I'm not in a hurry. The food is good, the prices on the menu reasonable, and the dining area spacious.
