I purchased a voucher from an online deals site to try their meat. I rang a couple days before hand to advise of my order and the man who spoke to me was absolutely lovely, really friendly and took time out to chat. When I arrived to pick up my pack, the store was busy busy busy. There seemed to be a few regular customers as they were referred to by name. There was a beautiful selection of meat and some 'fancy' meat you could say. On top of the meat pack I pick up free range eggs for $4 and some ham off the bone. The ham was sensational and next time I go into Dee Why I will definitely buy a bigger amount. The voucher said sausages and I just assumed they would be plain ones, however we got chicken, These were lovely and my children ate them until they hit the chilli and gave up, but they were nice chunky chicken sausages. The pack also included a whole butterfly chicken. Definitely not a whole chicken, the breast had been removed. This was very dissappointing. So of course when I cooked it for a family of 5 I had to come up quickly with another meal for at least two kids as the chicken wouldn't have spread that far. On saying that though, the chicken was delicious and we really enjoyed it. The mince was really nice too. Wouldn't have any hesitation in stopping in again to purchase meat and I personally thought they were very reasonably priced.
