An iconic pub on Penshurst Street in Willoughby. I met my sister for lunch and we ordered the falafel wrap and the chicken wrap. As the wraps were cut in half, we shared the wraps, having our own little taster plate. The food was delivered via a buzzer and diners go to collect their meals. Prices are very reasonable, our wraps were $13. Parking is a pain, it is street parking only, so be prepared to walk.

I dined recently with my husband and it sure has changed since I last visited the pub. The dining area is more like fine dining and the meal prices show it too. We ordered the Salt & pepper Szechuan squid , a T-bone steak and the Fillet Mignon. The squid was fabulous and I was so dissappointed I ordered a share plate as I wanted it all to myself. The steak was so tender it was hard to stop eating. The staff were really friendly and very approachable. The only let down was the high prices which were an indication of the area. Definitely not pub prices.

Our children are now enjoying Indian, although we do have to order dishes to suit their tastebuds. We usually order butter chicken, samosas, three nans, and rice. The nans have shrunk in size over the years, which is such a shame to see this happening. The butter chicken is the best I have tasted and the samosas are really tasty. The restaurant is only very small and reminds me of a eatery you might find in India, but it always seems to be packed with diners. The staff are really friendly too.

Very tasty fish and chips. Each box is supplied with tartare sauce and lemon quarter. Good value and the chips are nice and thick. The batter is occassionally a little soggy, but the fish is tender. They also sell coffee and sushi.

I ordered the Massamun Curry, the Cashew Nut and the Peanut Pra Ram all with chicken. Each chicken dish is $17. I love that thai food is filled with vegetables, however there wasn't a lot of chicken in the Peanut Pra Ram and when spreading between 3 people I was the one that missed out. They also charge for the steamed rice. Yes, all three dishes were delicious and I am full of praise for the taste, but the price was very expensive for thai and I won't be rushing back to this restaurant at those prices.

I needed an urgent half leg wax last week and phoned this beauty therapist as I was close by.

I was welcomed in and allowed to get sorted before the beauty therapist came in the room.

The room was comfy and the therapist was friendly and enjoyed a chat as she worked. And she was great. Those hairy legs were smooth so quickly and not a hair left to annoy me later.

I was left to change and was offered the moisturising cream if I wanted a little more and then met the therapist in the front room.

The half leg cost me $28 and I breathed a sigh, I don't visit very often in the winter as I thought this was really expensive, but the therapist was so quick, so I guess it out weighed the cost.

We have been going here for many years and stopped in after a day adventure recently.

We ordered the Katmandu and the New Orleans pizza and 3 kids meals. The pizzas have shrunk over the years, they used to take up the whole plate, but the toppings last week were plentiful and we were filled to the brim after we had finished.

The kids meals are great value. They get a drink, small pizza and an ice cream at the end.

GPK used to supply pizza dough for the kids and colouring books and pencils, but on our last two visits this hasn't been given to us.

We love this restaurant and pretty much keep to our standard pizzas which also include the Saigon and as they say, once you've found something you like, stick with it.

Service is always good, but on this occasion we had to wave our hands a couple times to get the staff member's attention. He didn't check up on us at all and even clearing the table took a while longer than normal.

Approximate cost: $20 - 26

We went for an end of year soccer lunch. It was raining so the kids wasted their money on the chocolate machines indoors, coming away with a handful of stale chocolates. But you don't play these machines to win.

I ordered the calamari and chips and the chips were delicious, but the calamari was from a packet so I was a little dissappointed.

I ordered the kids meal chicken nuggets and chips. One liked the chicken nuggets and one didn't, but that's kids.

The menu looked really delicious and there is a great range to satisfy all tastebuds.

The meals are reasonably priced, their is a fantastic outdoor area for the kids, but unfortunately for us it was raining on our visit and their is plenty of seating.

We stopped in Cessnock on our way through to the Hunter Valley stopping in here for lunch.

A lovely little cafe with outdoor seating, but due to the wind we sat inside.

The staff were friendly and could clearly see our excitement for our upcoming weekend and made us feel very welcome.

I ordered the chicken toasted sandwhich and really enjoyed it. It didn't come with chips, but I was was quite full after the sandwhich.

We ordered and paid at the front of the store, before finding a table. All meals and coffees came out within minutes of each other, so I was impressed there wasn't too much of a wait between deliveries.

Lovely atmosphere and we were lucky to be visiting in a quieter lunch period, so it was also rather quiet in the cafe.

Approximate cost: $10.00

This lunch stop was part of a wine tour. We all pre ordered our meals prior to getting to the Inn and we weren't waiting long before it was delivered to our tables.

I ordered the Flame Grilled Chicken Burger and really enjoyed it. It came with hot chips and they are definitely the nicest hot chips I have had for a while.

My friend ordered the Chicken Mushroom and Leek Pie and said it was nice, however it really wasn't anything to rave about. I personally couldn't see any chunky pieces of chicken in the pie which is a 'deep' pie, it looked rather watery.

Another friend ordered the Beer battered Barramundi and Chips and said it was delicious, but did think the price was overpriced.

Staff were friendly and polite considering the Inn was quite busy with wine tour customers coming and going.

Allow over $20 - $30 per meal.

Approximate cost: $20.00
