We are new to town, and were very unsure about where to find a personable, professional dentist. If you are in the same predicament - look no further. We are so happy with the service that Dr Makan and his friendly staff provided our entire family. He has a great chair-side manner and explains everything fully. Thoroughly recommended.

I am visiting Melbourne from South Australia. I chipped a front tooth one evening, and immediately searched the web for dentists in the surrounding area. I telephoned Dentist@330 in Mt.Waverley hoping for an answering service. Dr Vikash Makan answered! He booked me in for the following morning (a Saturday) and I had treatment during that week. Not only was the chip beautifully repaired, but my front veneers which have always bothered me because they have been too long and have caught my lip - were slightly reduced to align with the rest of my front teeth. I am delighted with the result. The treatment was professional, and of the highest standard. I received affordable assistance for a most unwelcome event while here in Melbourne!

I had some dental work that needed to be done that I have put off for some time. One of the reasons I delayed doing anything was a lack of trust in my previous dentist. I found Dentists 330 on womo and made an appointment with Dr Vikash.

Dr Vikash was great to deal with. He was gentle and gave me some very good advice which as I suspected was different to my previous dentist. He explained the options available to me and let me make up my mind. No pressure at all.

I decided to go ahead with the treatment plan which involved 4 extractions. While he was away, I was oput ubder the care of Dr Faith and all I can say is that they both are very professional and have a great chair side manner. They do not just look at the short term issues but try to manage the long term health of your teeth.

After reading many reviews on WOMO site for a recommended dentist, I decided to go for Dr Vikash at Dentist@330. I needed a 2nd opinion urgently for a complicated tooth and was very much in pain then. Like many others, I also had bad dental experiences in the past and big fear sitting on dental chair. When I met Dr Vikash and his lovely assistant, Ashika, they both made my nervous visit a pleasant and calm one. Dr Vikash did a very thorough assessment and explained in details about my tooth situation and the needed emergency treatment and cost, I felt very positive with his confidence and knowledge and went back the next day for my emergency dental work. Since then, I also had my root canal done by him. Extremely lucky to find a gentle and excellent dentist whom I feel comfortable with. Thanks to WOMO and hopefully my review can also help others when searching for a recommended dentist.

The dentist here is amazing, he genuinely cares about each patient and does his best to look after you. Very informative as well. The staff are also amazing. A lovely environment.

Had a problem with one of my tooth last week, needed treatment rather urgently. Dr. Makan actually stayed back (i.e. extended his working hours to fit me and did an amazing job to stop the ache). Really grateful ..

If you are anxiety ridden & looking for a gentle calming dental experience, I highly recommend this practice. I drive across Melbourne to be treated by Vikash and his staff; they go out of their way to help me relax and have turned me from dental phobic into a happy patient!

I thought Dr. Makan was really friendly, and for a general check up was quite thorough and tried his hardest to explain things. Considering you pay a lot for medical/dental you want to understand what you're getting and he did that really well i thought. The whole surgery is professional and friendly at the same time, was very impressed!

We are really happy with Dr Makan and very relieved to have found him to be our new dentist. He is great with my kids, and also explains everything he is doing and why. He is respectful, courteous and friendly. I'm also happy that he is conservative in his treatment approach, we have been to many dentists who want to do so many fillings and treatments and Dr Makan seems to recommend only what is necessary and reasonable.

I'm not fond of dentists at all and hence have put off for over a year desperate work needed, until I came across Dr Vikash Makan and his team on womo. He has made me overcome my fear of dentists. He is thorough, gentle gives you many options, prices and scenarios and his work is excellent. I had a much needed crown done and he has done an amazing job and was better than others but far more superior and
professional too. He told me what is needed, by showing me and explaining my x-rays and picked up I'm a grinder and the damage I have caused and what I need to prevent further damage. Very friendly, professional and accommodating when organizing appointments and during treatments. Clearly explains procedures, is very concerned about patient comfort and welfare and very gentle. I've had some nasty experiences previously at other clinics and this practitioner has restored my trust. From regular check-ups, cleaning and fillings to crowns, I can't fault the work and service. I'd definitely recommend them.

Based on the reviews here and my private health care members first I chose Dentist@330 to try for our new family dentist. DrMakan was fab! the kids loved him which was the most important and being a nervous nelly at the dentist he was great with me too. Everything was explained well and we're very pleased we made the switch.

My regular dentist of over 20yrs moved so I needed to find someone local. I had become very comfortable with my regular dentist and I was terrified that I wouldn't find another quality dentist. I was extremely lucky to find Dr Makan who is kind, gentle, friendly and professional. He prints up quotes of all work needed so that you know exactly how much procedures will cost. He takes time to explain each step of the process before he begins so you know exactly what to expect. Dr Makan has a lovely, relaxed manner and is very understanding towards nervous patients - he would be terrific with all ages - especially children. I have referred my husband and children, my friends and work colleagues onto Dr Makan. I would highly recommend him to anyone who would like an honest, kind, friendly and professional dentist who can do quality work at a reasonable price.

BEST DENTIST IN TOWN ! Vikash is the best dentist I've ever seen (and I've seen plenty). He is friendly, gentle, caring, thoughtful and precise. He wants the best care for his patients, but is aware of budget issues and happy to discuss options for treatment. Vikash owns the clinic, which he has recently renovated, and has the latest equipment in a clean and uncluttered setting. His chair is amazingly comfy !! I've recommended many people to Vikash, and they all rave about him. His clinic also does follow up calls after tricky appointments to make sure you're OK - so thoughtful. I am a very nervous patient, so for me to commend a dentist so highly is huge praise !!

Did 1 root canal treatments and another one soon. Far the cheapest when I compared a few dental clinics around Melbourne. Service was excellent and the dentist provided me flexible hours especially on urgent calls in public holidays. Would recommend this dental clinic to anyway that needs tooth treatements.

My usual dentist could see me when I had bad tooth ache. I phoned this dentist and he stayed open just for me and luckily he did as I was in pain.. Great service, and he shows you what needs to be done on a big screen. Now my regular dentist :-)

Dentist@330 is wonderful! First impressions when I walked in, the surgery was very neat and clean, fully equipped. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Dr Vikash did a good job filling my cavities. I was in good hands as he is a caring dentist and reassured me every step of the way. He informed me what he was doing, which made me less nervous. He also explained to me what was wrong with my teeth, why I was prone to decays and offered very good advice which no other dentist has even bothered to.

Fortunate to have this womo website otherwise I would have never found this great dentist and it really is a 'mission' trying to find a good dentist. I've seen him three times now. This is the BEST DENTIST I have ever been to! Vikash is a genuine and honest person. He actually cares about his patients and I really do believe that he loves his profession. He really does do excellent work and he is up to date with all the latest products. He explains things so that it's easy to understand. He truly believes in trying to save a tooth & structure as much as possible. I first went to him thinking I would need a root canal. He suggested I try a new filling first. Its worked so far and I'm wrapped. I'm working with him to take out all of my metal fillings. His assistants Anthea & Ashka are fantastic as well; very helpful, professional and offer excellent advice. Finally found a fantastic dentist for life. THANKS VIKASH and the team.
