Honestly i have experienced the same thing...
the owner always charge twice on your direct debit account.
i have regret to sign up a treatment with them
i am very surprise no one has managed to take this company to court ....

MY ADVISE... DO NOT SIGN UP A CONTRACT TREATMENT WITH THIS COMPANY...THAT INVOLVE DIRECT DEBIT ACCOUNT... IT'S TRAP!!!!

AS I AM TRYING TO GET OUT OF IT AND IT HAS BEEN DIFFICULT

Let me go back to your first comment, as i have just realise that ....

You'd mentioned

" If you have signed up for membership you sign up for the 12 months to get the incredible savings of $70 per month. If you leave early you will be charged an exit fee. Signing the contract means you are responsible for your payments ... as you have signed and agreed to receiving the best price."

is this how you are encourage your customers?
if your customers are extremely unhappy with your customer services, and as far as i can understand what you have stated as above, you are suggesting and encourage your customers to terminate their contracts before it's due.

In another word, rather than customers have to put up with you, and you are encourage your customers to terminate their contracts early and pay the exit fee.

wow.... i am speechless... i am applause to your customer service skills....

DO NOT GO TO THIS COMPANY. For goodness sake do not give them your card details. I joined their membership program and for one treatment they charged me twice despite me specifically requesting them to delete my card details. I then had to send 4 emails to no response about refunding the amount due. I then called and was given attitude about my request. I then requested cancellation and without advising me they deducted a $250 cancellation fee from my account that was not authorized and I had requested no money be taking until I made a decision about the cancellation. I spoke with an employee of the business who is an incredibly rude woman. Claim to be healthcare providers but I would not send my worst enemy to this business after my experience.

[redacted] is the rudest lady ... had screamed at every staff member and myself today ... [redacted inflammatory comments]. I m sadden that see was so rude to us and must warn other that she is difficult. [redacted inflammatory comments]... some people are never happy!!

[redacted name] has just sent me an email requesting I edit or delete my review. She has also unfairly commented on my review with baldfaced lies about my discussions with her staff today. I have at no point yelled at any of them and would never do so. She has still been unable to send me a signed copy of the terms and conditions she speaks about but has managed to deduct over $300 of unauthorized funds from my account. I advised her that the merit of a business can be seen in how they treat customers when they are unhappy and her personal attack on me if indicative of this. I would be very careful about dealing with this "business".

[redacted personal identifier] has always had an attitude problem. She creates and unwelcoming and hostile environment. I had multiple experiences in which one thing was promised and yet a different outcome occurred at the checkout. Disappointing that people still act this way and pursue these business practices. I finally learnt my lesson and have ended my long-term relationship with this business.
The treatments provided are inferior and my money and time have been better spent elsewhere.

Sorry that you felt disappointed but we have given you the service you received with professionalism but when you were told you weren't a member as you hadn't renewed your membership you blamed us ... price offered to members is for current club members only. As mentioned we were happy to renew your membership and honour your discounted price but you wished not to. I'm sorry that you felt you should get the benefits though you refuse to accept the renewal. Membership is limited, to ensure you and our other clients get the capped price offer. Non renewal reverts to full price. I hope you understand this now and I hope you relieased your membership had lapsed.

We wish to provide our high standards and ensure are clients are always happy.

The treatment I received today exceeded my expectations.
Everyone was so calm, professional. The assessment was very thorough and comprehensive. The accent is a wholistic one and you are treated as a whole person.

I have just come from a lovely, relaxing, one hour full body rose massage at detoxologie. My daughter purchased a Cudo gift voucher to give me this massage. After reading the reviews I was a little concerned about what it would be like. It was a good experience with a caring masseuse and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

The service was great. I had a colonic and was given further naturopathy advice. I am now a regular client and my health has improved immensley. This company makes looking after your health affordable unlike other natural health services. I would recommend detoxolgie to anyone with digestive issues, The staff are caring and helpful, I feel very comfortable there.

FANTASTIC!!

I visited Detoxologie on a groupon voucher for a facial and massage. From the very beginning as I walked through the door, the receptionists were so friendly and welcoming. My massage was excellent, a deep tissue + relaxation therapy. I then went in for my facial- my beautician was so knowledgeable and didnt only provide a pampering experience but also educated me on how to improve my breakout prone skin.
I would definitely recommend this clinic to friends.

The staff hear were uneducated and would not give me my massage or colonic that i had paid for because i told them I had cancer two years ago. They treated me with predjudice even though I was in full remission, they said they couldnt massage me if i ever had cancer. The head cancer professor at St george hospital had told me from the start that massage ok for me. . My partner is a massage therapist, she asked him with me, and he reassured me that it was fine for me. The staff here did not only discriminate against me they virtually accused me of not reading the terms and conditions. I went over the terms again completely when i returned home and there was no exclusion whatsoever in there relevant to me. Its hard enough having cancer and tough enough getting through it but to be treated in this manner by unprofessional psuedo medico wanna be's is very offensive. They refused to give me a refund but allowed me to give the deal to my girlfriend who got to use the treatment that I paid for. It took me my time and money to travel to this appointment and was a fair inconveince to be sent home again without a refund due to there missinformation

Hi Darrenn2, what an utterly shameful manner in which to conduct any business, particularly one that is supposed to assist those suffering from a physical or psychological ailment. Although Fair Trade legislation varies somewhat from state-to-state, it is our understanding that you were entitled to a refund. It sounds like they were simply looking for an excuse when they attempted to state that you were ‘breaching their terms and conditions.’ Keep in mind that consumers can also sue under disability discrimination law and we would strongly recommend this action for anyone who is struggling with a long-term illness and/or disability. Hi Darrenn2, despite leaving a comment for this review, it appears to have been deleted, so we will make a second attempt. From what you have described, such exclusionary treatment sounds bizarre. Many competent practitioners recommend that those with cancer incorporate massage (and other alternative therapies) into their treatment regime. This certainly sounds like discrimination and we would recommend lodging a ‘formal’ complaint with the relevant authorities. Hang in there and stick up for your rights. If this becomes increasingly difficult for you, we would recommend that you employ a health advocate to assist.
