When you enter it seems as if you are swept back in time 20years and are entering an old time chinese restaurant with dated decor and old furnishings. Good range on the menu with old style favourites. Wanted to try for takeaway but were dispappointed with portion size, price and meat quality. They advertise with the slogan "Top chef from china" but it did not seem chef prepared and the pricing is just too expensive for what is on offer. Service was fair but does not make up for the dishes and price and expected much more from my Mongolian beef both in flavour and meat quality (too chewy, not tender enough). I can get similar fare from other take-away restaurants for $5 cheaper per dish and tastier dishes. Delivery is available.

This place has been a reasonably good Chinese Restaurant for a while but in the last couple of months they really have improved. The food is really good. They have the best fried rice and roast pork ribs in plum sauce. Quiet and attentive.

the decorating sounds great, but that definitely doesn't make up for a bad meal. i agree, i would choose a different restaurant with better quality meals.
