The service and overall experience I received from Diamondport was second to none. The design process was stress free and the finished product was executed beautifully, we’ve had so many compliments on the ring already. I have bought several excellent pieces of jewellery from Ashley in the past few years - I replaced my wife's wedding and engagement rings with new, contemporary rings that included top quality diamonds, all made exactly as we asked. He then made her a pair of gorgeous diamond and gold drop earrings. This year he re-made my Mum's original engagement ring too, with a sparking diamond solitaire with smaller diamonds on the shoulders. She is absolutely delighted. Ash also got her favourite pearl necklace re-strung, re-clasped and polished - she thought it was a totally new necklace when she got it back! Great work Ashley.

We received our ring from Ashley a few weeks ago and my fiancee could not be happier with it. The whole process of choosing a diamond was very easy and Ashley was very informative and extremely accomodating when me and my girlfriend where trying to trying to choose which type of cut to go for.
After a lot of deliberation we decided to buy the stone first and then design the ring around it as my girlfriend had a particular cut and style in mind.
The end result is an amazing, unique, custom made engagement ring and it feels great knowing it was made especially for us.

I was very excited to be able to design my own engagement ring and with a few ideas in mind, my fiancé and I met with Ashley to explore what he could provide. Ashley knows his craft and led us expertly through the process of selecting the diamonds and ring setting, sourcing the most beautiful asscher cut diamond, producing draft designs and ensuring we were happy with the product. Even when my knuckles proved problematic in getting the right fit, Ashley continued to work with me to find a solution so the ring sat correctly on my finger. I enjoyed the personalised service Ashley provided, knowing I was getting a high quality, unique engagement ring that was designed just for me.

Ashley and the Diamondport experience well exceeded my expectations!

From the ease of booking a time, directly on his site, the complimentary valet parking, his immaculate studio and obvious passion for what he does, and genuine desire to go far and above to ensure his customer's expectations are exceeded, I cannot say that I have had a customer service experience to rival this one in a VERY long time.

Due to certain circumstances out of my control, I was not able to go through with a purchase, however, when the need arises again, I have no doubt where I will be going for any type of ring I require.

Even if she doesn't like it, it will be remade! And cleaned and polished every year, for free. And they come with insurance. It's basically foolproof!

I have known Ashley at Diamondport for 11 years and I trust him with all my jewellery needs. My husband bought my engagement ring from Diamondport after I dropped hints to my husband about what I wanted. I have also since bought our wedding rings, an eternity ring and a dress ring from Diamondport. The dress ring was a special commission, taking a diamond from my grandmother's old engagement ring and resetting into a necklace for my mother, and reusing the gold for part of the dress ring. A truly sentimental piece that Diamondport was sensitive to every step of the way.

This is the first time I've ever reviewed anything, but for the first time I feel I must share my absolute delight with my experience with Ash from Diamondport in Brisbane. I would say that I wasn't your ordinary guy with no idea about diamonds and about rings. I had knowledge of retailers, wholesalers, designers, diamonds etc. Through my homework, let's just say I knew what I was after. I went everywhere, from wholesalers in Melbourne, to Tiffany stores on the Gold Coast. I knew the design I was after and felt I had found it with 'another jeweller' in Brisbane. About to almost get things going with them a good friend of mine referred me to go see Ash at Diamondport before I went ahead with the other place... I contacted Ash and was very transparent with what I was after and what I was about to do, he assured me seeing him was not going to disappoint, and my god it didn't!! It was meant to be. The moment I met Ash and began dealing with him, it was evident his passion for diamonds and customer service was more genuine than anywhere I had previously been. (Including Tiffany) but what I was after was not something off the shelf. I was very particular in how i wanted the diamond, including its size, cut colour clarity it's setting, and a few other small but important details. I don't know anyone else that would have gone to as much effort as Ash did to get the engagement ring as perfect as I pictured it. But what was most impressive was the trust I immediately gave Ash in sourcing the diamond. The time he put in to find what I was after was well worth it, and because of the trust he earnt from me, I purchased the diamond without seeing it. This was based purely on his word that it would be perfect for me. I went ahead and a few days later the diamond arrived. An exceptional 1.56ct round brilliant cut masterpiece. I was overwhelmed in how the diamond looked, and to be honest it was better than expected. From here I had already received multiple 'design drawings' from Ash in how it would look when made. (Oh yes, I forgot to mention this ring was a full custom design) I went back and forth a couple times in making minor changes, and everytime I did Ash was more than accomodating as he too wanted to get it perfect. My final drawing came through and there it was - perfection. I gave Ash the go ahead and the making of the ring commenced. A diamond I hadn't seen, a ring and setting I only saw via a computer drawing, that was the trust I gave Ash. So you could say the next week or so while it was being made, I was very anxious in how it was going to look. Would it look as good as the drawings..? Well.... I got the call from Ash. It was ready. I went in to pick up the ring and was so nervous with butterflies, I almost couldn't open the box. Ash opened it for me and I was absolutely blown away. Lost for words I was actually rather emotional about how it looked. It was amazing. Far far exceeded my expectations and to see it in real life was beyond any of the drawings of it. The engagement ring was the most beautiful I had seen (and I'm the guy!!) I was simply delighted and could not wait to propose to my girlfriend. I won't go into the details of my proposal other than it was perfect. She was so overwhelmed and emotional on how beautiful her engagement ring is. In her words too - it is perfection.
