I am from out of town, and was chasing a difficult to find dvd. Absolutely no luck in 2-3 hours online. I rang Dixons and was delighted to find they had one copy in stock and could post it out to me. Quoted me postage - and I paid for it all over the phone. Fantastic!
Well, my dvd turns up (couple of days) - and inside is taped a $2 coin! They had over quoted the postage! I am blown away not just with the service, but the honesty and integrity they have shown. I would give them 10 out of 5 if I could!

I love this place!! It's a treasure trove crammed full of used CDs DVDs and Vinyl Records. You may not always find what you are specifically after as it is a second hand store after all. The music is divided into genres which does help a little. The prices are reasonable and the discs are always in good condition. They also purchase from you and you can do a deal where you can take the cash or put it towards something else in the store - oh and the bargain bins are a fun time waster.

Dixons not only sell CDs and DVDs they also buy. I just recently sold some CDs and DVDs that I no longer wanted. The price per item varies depending on whether they have it in stock or not and whether it's something they can sell. You're not going to get rich but you can make some nice pocket money. Or they give you the offer to 'swap' what you bring in, good way to get some new music or movies :-)

I am a regular customer of both the Camberwell and Blackburn Dixons' stores, and spend many hours browsing for rare or deleted vinyls and CD's. I find that most of the time, Dixons' is amazing for their range, quality and great customer service. The staff are specialists with an extensive knowledge of most genres of music. They are enthusiastic and passionate and were most helpful to me when I was trying to locate a piece of music for my mother' funeral recently. Larger retail chains like JB couldn't find what I needed, but the Dixons' staff persisted and I can't thank them enough.

Well I took my stuff to a few stores to sell. What impressed me was that they offered me overall the best deal as they bought most of my stuff. The others only wanted the half want dixons took, so I ended up with more cash.

This is a cd store that sells second hand music and is particularly good if your in searching for good old records.very fair prices and a wide range of music which is organised and easy to find. As said below some are not in the best condition so you should check out what your buying before you make your purchase.

This place has a good collection of used Cd's , their prices on most items are well valued and in all a good store to have a look at before you go up the road to JB.. although no where near as much range as JB, still has the ones you want
