Dobell's Cafe

Nice little local cafe for the neighborhood. Looks like there are new owners since last visited, ordered a couple of coffees which were good ($3.50/cup pretty well priced) and the hostess was kind enough to give the dog we were walking a bucket of water :) We'll be using this place as a great little catchup spot to meet friends :)

Been to this place before and was not impressed so when i returned the other day did not have high expectations however whilst the decor still looked very dated the coffee (the important thing) was quite delicious and the big cookie I shared with my friends tasted like a byron bay cookie- yummo and was only $2.50 bargain! Hate to say though do not feel like hanging around there cause everything is just a bit daggy looking. did notice they sold macaroons but didn't try one...perhaps next time!

great food and service! good value for money although we waited a while for our breakfasts but coffee came quick so we were able to sit and relax and it didn't bother us too much.

This is a lovely relaxed cafe. It serves breakfast and lunch, but I only went in for a takeaway coffee to have in the park next door. The coffee was really good, and the service was great. I was there at around 2 o'clock so it was quite quiet. The homemade cakes on display looked really good and next time I expect I will have one of those with my coffee!

They make a really good breakfast. Nice and creamy scrambled eggs and great tomato salsa. Im not a fan of the coffee but my husband has no issue with it. Poached eggs are not great as they seem to use a machine. Really good prices and very polite and friendly staff. The service is slow but often not the waiters fault, but the kitchens. They dont have high chairs.
