The address is actually in hughesdale - for those travelling to this.
Great charcoal chicken, moist chicken with good filling. Chips always made to order, fresh, hot and salty. Good selection of roasted sides, and good gravy.

This was our local Charcoal Chicken about 8 years ago, and even after shifting to the western suburbs and back, we still cannot find anything close to as good as this place.

Chips are some of the best takeway chips you will find in Melbourne - always cooked on demand, crunchy, hot, and not at all oily. They really know how to cook chips, we just wish more places did too.

The chicken is deliciously covered in plenty of herbs and spices, and there just seems to be something special about the flavour. It's never dry or too fatty. The salads are also excellent and the Chicken/Salad/Chip value packs are highly recommended.

This family run business is very clean, service is friendly and quick. Make sure you get there reasonably early, or phone ahead, as they have been known to sell out of chickens early some nights.

I have been purchasing from this establishment every fortnight for the past four years, and I have enjoyed their food from the get go. I'm very impressed with their large variety of fresh salads and their chickens are always hot and tasty. They also have a large variety of vegetables and finger foods, which my kids love. Overall, it's my family's favourite take out place. Service is always friendly and helpful.

Approximate cost: $12

I agree with the rating - I have been going there for quite a few years and their chicken is the tastiest and always moist. Good selection of salads and great spuds.

It's a chicken shop from the 70's. They have fresh salads but the salads are mostly mayonnaise with a side of vegies. Last time I went there were a few grey peas floating in the water in the bain marie, and that put me off ordering anything. It was very depressing. They really need to smarten up their act and make some more modern and fresh food.

Approximate cost: $10
