Took our money happily enough to November for A 8 week delivery date . Closed the store we bought it from, lied to us saying it wasn’t in the country yet today I am told it is a local manufacturing door . Was advised install date end jan, we rang numerous times to be told many stories , now told the check measure guy has been ringing us and it’s our fault we haven’t answered his calls? They have our email address , they could leave a text as they say they rang from a non disclosed private number which most people won’t answer in case it’s scammers or political offers. Have been given so many reasons why it’s our fault the door isn’t ready for install 4 months after they took our money and the “ managers” way of dealing with it is to blame the customer for the lack of communication from door city, the lack of return phone calls and the fact they say the installer turned up to our house , unannounced with no appointment , and it’s our fault we had a dog there and we weren’t home ???

What happened to booking in appointments via the medium we ordered the product? Email is pretty simple. Booking an appointment to measure is a necessary courtesy , I would NEVER buy from the crowd if you expect service or any kind . Cannot tell you about the quality as we never got the door even after 4 months and our numerous phone calls to find out where it was .

Everyone at Door City were so helpful in the purchase and installation of our new doors at our investment property. The process was smooth, and well within our time frame! Our doors look beautiful and have changed the entire facade of the property, for such a small price. The doors were installed with minimum fuss, and by a Master Craftsman, who was incredibly respectful of our property, and very proud of his work.
I wouldn't hesitate in referring Door City to anybody looking for new doors.

Currently doing a complete reno makeover. Purchased a heavy 1200mm front door @ a competitive rate (Kunda Park). Very professional service from the point of initial sales to the final installation, including information on routine door care. Highly recommended.

We were impressed with the service at Door City, the Sales guys were informative and quickly guided us to the door we required to make our entrance stand out. The installer was friendly and installed it even cleaned up after himself.

Recently had some timber bifold doors installed by Door City, they came out and measured it and we had it installed quicker than originally anticipated. The doors look beautiful and greatly improved the look of our home. Thank you!

After visiting their shop at Boondall a number of times, I decided to purchase my new prowler proof security door from them. On April 17th, 2015 I placed order and parted with my $900. Told turnaround time about 2 weeks. On 13th day I rang to check on progress of order. There was no progress, as my order had slipped through the cracks. Not to worry, these things happen I was told. That same day Michael came out to measure up. Week or so later organised to take time off work to have door installed. Robert, their fabulous installer arrived to install door, but somehow Michael had made a mistake with door handle placement and couldn't install. I didn't hear from Door City though. I rang them later in day to find out what the go was. Within a couple of days, we had struck up a deal. If I agreed to use original security door, they would sell me a front timber door at cost and install for free. Position of lock on timber door would be moved so security door could be used. Not bad, but was annoyed when I found out that free installation did not include hinges, but they would do me a deal, $7.00 each. You have to be kidding., so I supplied my own. Stainless steel from Bunnings for $4.00 each. Both doors installed 11th June. Can't say enough good stuff about installer. He is their only asset. Throughout this fiasco it was me doing the chasing up, not one word from them until I owed them money for new timber door. They started ringing me next day. I ignored their calls until Monday when I rang and paid for door, at same time mentioning I was not happy with the workmanship with beading around glass panels. I rang them again 3 weeks later about having installed glass wrong way round. Michael came to remove and put in right way. Took my door mat with him. I rang them again enquiring after mat, yep we have will drop back when in area. Has now been 2 weeks, door mat still not returned. I wish I had gone with my gut feeling in April when I stood like a fool waiting for service, which didn't come in their shop. Stupidly, I left and went back a couple of days later. If you don't expect customer service, you certainly won't be disappointed. Their attitude towards customers is just so BAD!!!!
