Down To Scratch DJs

Wow! Where to do I begin! We were so honoured to have had Guy from down to scratch DJs DJ our wedding. The vibe he created from the ceremony to the reception was absolutely perfect, with a great mix of fun and sophistication!

Guy honestly went above and beyond for us and we are very thankful!

Guy is very professional, easy to communicate with and was so helpful in guiding us in what we should do. He was very accomodating to my lighting requests and created a wonderful set up. We had requested some of our favourite songs and even a couple South African songs to be in the mix and Guy did not disappoint! He kept the dance floor and atmosphere lively the whole night and every one was raving about how great choice in songs!

The vibe for the night was more than we could have ever imagined and we are so thankful for Down to Scratch DJ’s for providing us with that!

DTS DJs play for our F45 fitness studio and brings a whole new level of energy! Our members love it, fun upbeat and all the DJ's are super friendly and accomodating. HIGHLY recommend.

Hiring a DJ through Down To Scratch for our wedding reception ended up being such a great call. I had so many ideas and hopes for our reception dance floor and the DJ was completely flexible and accommodated all of the different song choices and other requests my wife and I had for the night, while using his skills and experience to contribute his own input for everything we weren't as sure about. We thought we must have been a nightmare couple because of all the requests we had in the lead up to our special day, but the people at Down To Scratch are by far the most approachable I've come across in the industry, which made it so easy to communicate as much as we needed to - especially as things often changed. This even included requesting a special remix of multiple songs mixed together for our choreographed first dance routine! The atmosphere on the night was fantastic because of the quality lights and equipment Down To Scratch uses, which was important to us because we wanted the night to be as memorable for our guests as it was for us. Their affordable rate meant we immediately thought we had found a good deal, but it wasn't until after the night and all the hard work the DJ had put in leading up to it that we realised just how good the deal was! Can't recommend enough.
