Dr Pregs is fantastic, he delivered my first child and made me very comfortable with him from my first visit. He was always helpful during my pregnancy appointments and he and his staff were always available for help after bubs was born. I'll be back to him when I get pregnant again!

When I was calling around looking for an Obstetrician, I chose Dr Pillay - firstly because of the lovely ladies I spoke to when they answered the phone. They were polite, friendly, knowledgable and offered great advice. Other receptionists/clinic staff I spoke to were quite abrupt and not willing to help.

His price is reasonable too, compared to other OBs and Dr Pillay was always happy to see me for extra appointments if there were any issues/concerns along the way.

I have been to Dr Pillay for the birth of 2 children and if I were planning on a 3rd child, I would not hesitate to go back. Dr Pillay is amazing - so thorough, easy going, calm and makes you feel relaxed; and his staff (Helen, Glenda, Allison and Corinne) are all absolutely wonderful. They all offered really great advice, both before, during and after pregnancy and I am quite sad that I don't have a reason to go back and see them regularly.

I also chose Dr Pillay based on a recommendation from a colleague and I would not hesitate to recommend him to anybody else having a baby!

I absolutely love Pregs. He delivered my first baby and throughout my pregnancy, each time I was unsure of something or had a little scare he always asked me to go in to see him so he could give me a quick scan to reassure me (and himself) that all was ok.
2 days after I delivered one of the nurses told me that I had the best looking cesarean scar (not sure how that is possible, but anyway) and she said it's because Pregs is such a perfectionist!
He is very calm, very professional but also has a great sense of humour (unlike most doctors I've seen before). I'm seeing him again for my 2nd bub now and he is more than happy and confident for me to have a VBAC this time around, unless I have placenta previa again (unlike some other OBs I've heard of who won't do a VBAC).
The receptionists in his suite are so friendly and helpful. Some of them are also midwives.
Price wise - he is actually very well priced in comparison to the other top OB's in Melbourne.
I highly recommend him and would never go with anyone else!

Pregs has a brilliant bedside manner - he puts you at ease the minute you walk in the room and you know you (and bub) are in great hands. He has a very pragmatic approach to everything - pays attention to the things that truly matter and no question is too ridiculous. I saw him for baby #1 and am currently seeing him for the second. Delivery of 1st baby was excellent, and while mother nature plays a huge part, I truly believe a vast majority of the ease of my experience had a lot to do with him.

He has a great team as well which does make a difference. They're always positive and down-to earth and remember little details about you which not only is refreshing these days, but isn't what I've heard from friends who have seen other OBGYNs. His midwife is also good for advice and support pre and post-birth which is another big plus!

I was very happy with Pregs and his whole team. He has a very calm demeanour and was very thorough and professional. His reception staff are friendly and welcoming. I liked that he had midwives at reception who also helped deliver my baby and made follow up phone call to check how I was going post birth. It was holistic care which was great for a first time mum! I highly recommend him.

I found Pregs for both my pregnancies fantastic. With a scan at every appointment and a relaxed approach it certainly made me feel much more at ease during my pregnancies.
Found Freemasons great the first time round and heading back there in a few weeks with number 2.

I was very happy with Pregs. My visits were always extremely thorough with a scan on every visit. I had a few complications at the beginning of my pregnancy and Pregs was proactive and available for advice when I needed it.
I loved Freemasons and would highly recommend going to the Hyatt if you can!

Absolutely love Pregs. We had a miscarriage in 2008 and Pregs was so caring and understanding. We then had to have IVF to become pregnant and as I was absolutely petrified and nervous, Pregs saw me every two weeks for the first trimester and reassured me at every appointment.
I recommend him to all my friends and will def go back for No.2.

Very Very happy with Pregs and his staff.Lisa and Corinne his Secretaries are great and the midwives are lovely and very knowledgable. I felt very cared for and my birth experience was wonderful. I was sad to leave after my Post natal visit. I will definitely go back for no 2.

Dr. Pillay delivered my first baby, he is an excellent ob for your first because he explains everything really well. He is very understanding that these are nervous times and has a gentle nature. We would have gone to him for the second but he only delivers at Freemasons and St Vincents which were inconvenient for us.
