4 emergency presentations to the Emergency Department during early pregnancy - and not once did he bother to come & see me. My husband took me to a private hospital who admitted me for 5 nights, I was that unwell....no further comment, it's a no brainer...

If you have a metabolic syndrome, seek a specialist for your diagnosis. I failed to do this and was possibly placed on the wrong medication, with no proper hormone tracking.

In hindsight I can see that the IVF focus of this practice gears your treatment towards IVF, regardless of other less invasive, holistic approaches.

The medical treatment I am now receiving has shown me what I wasn't getting, including proper communication and a tailored approach, rather than a "cookie cutter", one-size fits all protocol.

It appears from other reviews that come up through Google searches that many patients have been successful through City Fertility and Dr Eskander - I was ok with the treatment until I came under the care of a specialist that has a totally different approach and noted the medication I was given was not appropriate for my condition in the first instance.

Everyone's fertility issues will be different and I recognise that. This is just my experience. Unfortunately because I went with the flow and didn't question things more, my fertility journey experienced an additional 18 month delay from the wrong treatment. Again, if you suffer from a metabolic syndrome, please seek a specialist in that area.

Dr Alex is the best! He’s looking after me for my first baby. He made me feel safe from word go. He’s incredibly knowledgeable and gives you answers when you need them. Definitely wouldn’t want another OBGYN.

Very good and caring doctor. My first baby was born overseas but the second and the third were both delivered by dr Alex Eskander at mercy hospital. In my opinion he might be a bit quiet but he is very knowledgeable if you ask the questions. When I was at my 2nd preganancy, I still remembered he could response to my message at 11:00pm and came to hospital at 2am...

I was looking for a private hospital (waverly Private)when I was at my 3rd preganancy at the beginning because I didn’t want too many people around me when I stayed in hospital and was seeking a better hospital service but I found the obstician my GP referred was not at my expectation then I switched back to dr Alex eskander even the hospital is far from where I live. And the baby was born on Sunday. Luckily I switched to him, because I know the previous female Ob I chose doesn’t work at weekends. Sometimes it makes me believe it is the destiny

I need a decision maker and a calm ob even though I know I am not a high risk pregnant

But sometimes I don’t quite understand why he didn’t do side cut during the natural birth and just let it tear... I haven’t asked him this question before.

Very good Doctor, Delivered our first baby, and now the Second we continue to use him. You will feel very safe when you visit Alex. Top class quality Diagnosis and very knowledgeable. Dr Eskander's approach to diagnosis was one of top class. He is truly a great health professional with considerable compassion and empathy. He is one the best.

Top class experience & uptmost care for his patients & the safe delivery of baby. I gave birth recently and after an unexpected early c-section due to high blood pressure (placental abruption) my baby boy Leo was born early at 35 weeks 1 day. I am still in awe of his professionalism & kindness. He took care of me when I was at my most vulnerable and delivered my baby boy when the circumstances could have been dire. Dr Eskander is experienced in managing high risk pregnancies and although I didn't know I'd be one, his care & expertise ensured baby & I were monitored and safe.

In addition to being my obstetrician, he worked through my fertility issues via City Fertility Centre and was responsible for helping my partner & I fall pregnant on 1st time try with IVF.

He is quiet yet gentle, caring & understanding with a sense of humour. Dr Eskander will answer any question you have and always make you feel comfortable. His reputation is evidence of his caring for patients, skill & expertise.

His reception staff are also friendly & professional. I hope to return soon for IVF round 2 with hopefully baby # 2.

I highly recommend Dr Alex Eskander he is very easy to talk to and really cares for you. Had a really good experince with him, very Knowledgeable.

At my clinic, we refer all our patients to him, and I know Simpson Barracks ( the army ) refer their patients too him too. Hes fantastic, as well as working and delivering babies at northpark private hes also at the City Fertility Centre, and helped my friend have her first child through IVF. Highly recommend, great man and his reception staff are also lovely
