Been seeing Dr Soosay for over 35 years now, usually when I have a big issue, so sometimes years can pass between visits. The reason I return is precisely because he takes a much broader approach to health care, healing and medicine. What I've learnt is that Iggy is no nonsense, be prepared to ask him the questions to find out and explore. This approach will suit the person who leads their own wellness and/or recovery. So of course he is not going to suit everyone- he doesn't suit anyone else in my family for instance! It seems logically incorrect to suggest that vitamins don't do anything (as per previous review), his reception staff wouldn't be the first to need retraining in pleasantness , and as far as him warranting investigation above others in our society ?? Well, we live in a democracy and that is your choice. As far as I've experienced over more than 1/4 century, he has always been absolutely bang on with his diagnosis and approach to health and healing. However if you feel more secure with the 2 options of drugs or surgery, your regular GP is your best bet.

I have been seeing Dr Soosay for many years now. First when he was at NIIMS and now at St Kilda road. I have hashimotos and hypothyroidism and he has helped me so much. His attention to finding and treating the cause of the problem has been fantastic. Dr Soosay has been life changing for me.

I have in a very short time improved so much under Dr Soosay care.He has a beautiful temprement and offers alternate options if you have had a reaction to past products , he never pushes his own products and only offers tests and treatments that you can afford. I have recommended him to family and friends because of what he has done for me in such a short time. I thank God for Dr Soosay.

They ask for your credit card details over the phone before you meet him, then they will charge you for supplements that you never purchased. I reported this practitioner and he is being investigated.

FYI he works out of NIIMS and his own consultancy in St Kilda and thats where I saw him.

I agree with the first review, objected to giving them my card details before my appointment, reception staff were not very friendly, the doc was just ok, and too many overpriced supplements that dont really do anything

Although I explained that my teenage daughter was really unwell and had been for a while, Dr Soosay's receptionist would not fit her in for 4 weeks! To my great surprise another receptionist called 2 weeks later to demand I give my credit card details or she would cancel my appointment. I had recently been the victim of credit card fraud so I was not comfortable giving my card details over the phone in such un-secure manner.
I pointed out that it seemed un-reasonable and a complete double standard to not trust me to turn up to the appointment but that I should trust them so much as to give my credit card details to them. We eventually settled on a compamise that I would drop $90 in as a non-refundable deposit for the $140 consultation.
The medical care/advice on the day was dubious and seemed more interested in add on selling of unproven but expensive herbal remedies.
This quack is relying on trusting and gullable patients who are happy to part with big bucks in exchange for a lot of mumbojumbo.
