I had four rooms and a hall cleaned by Dryton.
Darren , the technician, arrived promptly, probably due to the early booking time, (he was actually a few minutes early). He explained what was to be done and revised the phone quote accordingly; it was 10-20% less expensive.
He offered the stain resistance treatment which I did not require. In the next 90 minutes he thoroughly vacuumed the carpets, spot cleaned a few stains and then scrubbed the carpets thoroughly. He kept up a pleasant conversation when I was around but was not intrusive or distracted from his work. He wiped all hard surface where they met the carpet.
He explained that it would take a couple of hours for the carpet to thoroughly dry but said that it was able to be walked on immediately. It felt slightly damp at this stage and took about four hours on a cool, wet autumn day to dry. A couple of heavily soiled patches which he treated extensively took about six hours to dry completely.This time was not an issue as the carpets were dry when the rest of the family arrived home mid afternoon.
The Verdict: the carpet looks almost new, uniformly clean and bright and the treatment has made them feel softer under foot, it feels as though the underlay has been rejuvenated. One stain, courtesy of the pet cat has not come out, but this has resisted treatment on many occasions. You name it we've tried it.
I would not hesitate to recommend Drytron and if you can get the services of Darren from Drytron Box Hill/Oakleigh you will not be disappointed.
