I went to Dumpling King on Thursday evening 29th September 2016 at 7pm. The Dumplings they served me were cold and they served me the ones that were sitting there, which I originally thought were used as a display. The next morning I was extremely sick and got food poisoning. Very disappointing and disgusting and I will never go there again. Warning- stay away from that place!!!!!!

basically dollar dumplings they're so cheap! average dumplings in terms of quality and taste but would definitely go again if only it was closer to the city!

The name says it all. If you're after cheap dumplings this is the place to go. The dumplings were so succulent and affordable. I didn't leave this place until I was full and I still had lots of change left after my total bill. That's a bargain.

Oh my goodness! I love a good dumpling and you can get it here! 5 fried dumplings for $5.80 and i could probably get through two plates! Really tasty and for an extra $2 you get chicken and corn soup! Also got a dim sim YUM! Mouth Watering and really good quality! A must if you go to doncaster!

In the food mall of Westfield Doncaster. On several occasions i've actually just travelled for dumplings. I love them, Chicken dumplings, cooked perfectly and quite large. I'm a big fan. They have a wide range of dumplings to choose from but chicken are my favourite.

This take away outlet is located within food court of Westfield and serves a range of soup noodles, fried noodles and of course .... dumplings.

I tried the combination noodles (fried) and found them to be okay, nothing fancy or special in my personal opinion. The portion was an average size with about a handful of shrimp, bbq pork, chicken and seafood pieces, some vegies.

The good thing is that my dish was cooked to order. Unfortunately I found some of the meat pieces cold in my plate, so perhaps it was not cooked and heated through properly.

The price was about $10 for my noodle dish.

I tried one of the dumplings - chicken which was okay.

I might give this place another try next time and have more of the dumplings.

Its cash only which is not very convenient as I like using my plastic!

Located in the food mall in Westfield Doncaster is a branch of the famous Dumpling King restaurant in Box Hill.

The range of dishes here are similar however more oriented towards noodles and rice dishes with meat/veggies. One item we liked here is the beef pancake which is basically slices of beef with a dark sauce wrapped in a flour pancake. It makes a good dish for lunch. They used to have a wider range of dim sum (like the four seasons dim sum) however for some strange reason have stopped providing this. Other dishes are pre prepared and ready to serve so you don't need to wait, however we found that these lacked the freshness - perhaps sitting in the steamer too long? If you are going to order from here it is definitely better to order dishes that are made on the spot (such as noodle soups or fried noodles) rather than bain marie style dishes (such as chicken with rice) as they just don't have the same freshness as you would find in Dumpling King in Box Hill. Service tends to be a bit "lazy" as when I ordered take away dumplings I had to remind them to provide some sauce in a small container to take away and also ask for serviettes and plastic fork. Most dishes (cooked) range from $9 to $12 with dim sum around $5-$6.

The food is tasty and fresh. The price is reasonable. The choices are good. The staff are friendly.

without a doubt the "best" dumplings- the Shanghai dumplings are to die for her. Freshly made on the premises (in fact you can see them making them)- I have tried many of the dumplings from the large variety available and all have been delicious

The shop is located in the busy food court of Doncaster Shopping Centre. The Dumplings are prepared in full view and most of the food is prepared to order, not premade like most foods at a food court. Very tasty.
