Fine dining at its best! Such beautiful views whilst enjoying the most delicious seafood imaginable, very professional, beautifully presented. The oysters were plump and oh so fresh, we ordered seconds. Yes, quite expensive, we don't dine here often, just special occasions. The staff are wonderful, efficient and quite friendly. Looking forward to our next indulgence here.

After my wife and I had finished showing our family around Victor we decided to treat them to a delicious lunch by the sea. Such a fabulous location with refreshing ocean views. Fortunately we were lucky enough to get a table outside, it was a great way to finish off our day of sightseeing sitting outside enjoying the most delicious well presented fresh seafood we have every had. Our meals were compleimented with some reasonably priced high quality wine. the staff were fabulous, clearing the table prompty and making sure our glasses were always full and that we were happy with our meals.
Fantastic restaurant, yes a bit expensive, but our meals really were spectacular and well worth every cent.

It had been some time since we ate at this restuarant, previously called Whalers Inn Restaurant now called Eat at Whalers (I prefer the previous name).

This really is a beautiful restaurant, the views are just amazing. We decided to take visiting family here for a meal with some hope of seeing a whale, as it is Whale watching season, unfortunately we didn't see one. But we thoroughly enjoyed the view eating our absolutely delicious meals. I highly recommend the seafood plate and salt and pepper squid, absolutely amazing, tasted so fresh. Staff were very firendly and we were served promptly.

We all had a wonderful time and finished off with a walk along the beach. A fabulous day out, and highly recommend you try, even if it is just for a coffee because you will enjoy the views, very relaxing.

Approximate cost: $From $25

What a shocking dining experience .... the head chef abusing staff, staff crying. Food was very ordinary at huge prices, couldn't understand the staff when booking in WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN :( The only good point was the views .....

Approximate cost: $30

Sorry you had such a bad experience, our most recent visit was fabulous. Maybe they were having a VERY off day when you went.

I have eaten here several times over the years but not for a couple of years so it may be better now than it used to be. It has a wonderful view overlooking Encounter Bay and the food was good to mediocre. Good service, but a little on the expensive side considering the quality of the food.

This restaurant is now Eat@Whalers in the Whalers Inn complex. It has the most wonderful view overlooking Encounter Bay towards the causeway. The staff are welcoming and the menu interesting. We had the bacon and eggs for brunch together with coffee. It was well priced as was the other items on the menu. It is not open every day so it pays to double check. An idyllic spot to enjoy

This is a lovely little restaurant a little out of the way but worth it. The views of the sea and the bluff are magnificent. The staff are friendly the food is lovely and well priced i would recommend having the chicken linguine it was to die for.
