Ebay! great site for many great things. And they look after your purchases. It's a great service which widely known all around the world. I love it! it's addictive too.

I love eBay I buy all the families iPod / phone cases from china there so cheap!! I get lots of stocking fillers through out the year from overseas for my children. I tend to not buy things unless its free post, as postage fees can make it not worth it half the time

Great place to buy just about anything your looking for and prices are generally cheaper than stores. Selling some things on there on there the fee's are pretty high though, that is the drawback for me. I have been dealing with them for many years and purchased and sold. I don't sell on there now due to the high fee's and the paypal fee's on top of that to.

kind of sick of getting ripped off by ebay stores, its not just that most of the stuff comes from china, i mean i have received quite a few good things but when it comes to clothing the sizes are not accurate, even by their measurements they still dont fit. as for the jewelry, most of it falls apart in days, i get they are cheap but quality is so poor its unbelievable

I have only ever had one maybe two problems in years and years and they have been resolved easily.

I have made many purchases over the years on ebay. For the most part the transactions have been fine and everything went well. There have been a couple of problems when things were purchased from overseas. I had to return a product once that was two and a half years out of date, back to America, this meant paying double the postage and I still to this day didnt get my refund. Ebay did nothing to help and I lost about 100 dollars on this. However generally speaking its a great place to go to save a few dollars on many items just be careful and check the feedback score for sellers especially overseas ones. Also overseas sizing varies considerably and it only takes a return post to waste any money saved

I love ebay! I buy so many things on here. I love how easy it is to shop from home and have them delivered right to my door. Living in a small rural town, we don't have many shops nearby, so using ebay means I can look for exactly what I need and shop for the best price, from someone with high feedback rating.

I have also sold a fair few things on here too.

Their web site is very user friendly and there is a app available for the iPad or iPhone.

Feedback is very important when you make a purchase as Sellers are judged on their feedback and this impacts on their sales, so always leave positive, useful feedback, especially contact the Sellers. Contact the Seller before leaving negative feedback as this cannot be deleted after it has been left. Always a great idea to contact the Seller first so that they can rectify any problems that you may have.
You in return have feedback left about you and how you dealt with their transaction, so that is good for you too to have a high feedback score, positive is best.
Always look at a Sellers feedback before buying from a seller, checking the postage rates too is important as well as looking at cheaper options and postage time.
As with any Store there are Ebay Specials to have and top rated sellers and a few dodgy sellers.
Always read the item description and look at the pictures, ask questions if you have any queries and enjoy!!!!!!

Like many of the previous reviewers, I've had both good and bad from ebay. It's often the first place I go when looking for something - even just to check prices, or especially if it's an out -of the-ordinary item - for example Power Ranger toys from years ago.

I've had brilliant experiences with books but then I discovered other sites without postage costs. I've bought electrical items, pet supplies, audio visual stuff and many others without any problems. Sellers on the most part are honest and helpful.

Some problems I've had with their resolution centre however, they seem to take ages to get to problems even though there is a clear history from each party through the message system. It is difficult to prove that a buyer has been false and claims the item is not as was described if you are a seller and ebay hold the funds. I also agree that their charges are ridiculous.

So at the moment I'm still a user but it won't take many more instances where I feel I've been let down, for me to leave them alone. I also don't like the way they keep changing the configuration of the pages and your history of purchases and stuff like that.

In a nutshell - use ebay with caution. Always check the references of the person you are buying from and if there is the slightest problem - like you item doesn't arrive within the time frame it's supposed to, direct communication straight away or else you'll just have to write it off to experience.

I use this site regularly. I love being able to shop from the comfort of my own home 24 hours a day. I can worry about the purchases I need after the kids are in bed and while I'm having a cuppa too. To top if off, I can sell my excess items as well and earn a few dollars back.
I also find that by keeping an eye out for items I require, I can often find them for cheaper then anywhere else.
The most convenient item I found was that when searching for items you can put them on your personal watch list so that you don't loose track of what you have seen.
