EcuTek: The biggest scam in the tuning industry

If you want to pay $404 for an oil, filter and air filter change - go here. Plus they filled in the wrong page in my service record book, and put dirty fingerprints on the page. If you ask for a quote get it in writing. They told me my 75K service would be $280 - $320 then did not stick to the price. Would not recommend.

Used mrt for tuning work on my subaru outback diesel and the difference it made was far beyond any expectations. The car is far more responsive and a dream to drive. The staff were extremely knowledgeable in their work and I would recommend mrt to anyone wanting tuning work done

MRT fitted my ML Triton with a front sway bar & XA Power Kit + inlet manifold clean. The ute is now almost unrecognisable in the way it drives; - The sway bar removes the uncomfortable body roll "lurch" on turn in, and the steering feels more positive with less "judder". - The manifold clean (very sooty at 75k kms) was well warranted and the Triton nows runs quieter & smoother. - The XA Power Kit transforms this ute from a wheezy diesel into something that sounds "gruntier", revs cleaner and most importantly goes better. I've found myself changes gears less, and often just leaving it in 5th torquing around in 60kph traffic. Brett was approachable and communicated well, he called personally when my vehicle needed an extra $60 gasket and was obviously onsite in the workshop & across the work that was being done. All in all, MRT have presented as a business that delivers on what they say they'll do- a rare find and highly recommended.

I highly recommend Brett and his team at MRT, not only did they put up with me asking a million questions but they offered me the best advice on which way to move forward. After contacting numerous other performance workshops in Sydney for parts for my STI they were one of the few to get back to me and the only one to give me prices and availability within a couple of days. They were also the only ones who could source what I wanted and at a price which was well below anyone else and lower than expected. :) I have read the negative reviews and can only assume that there was a miss communication as these guys were nothing short of professional in my dealings with them. Have to say that these guys really know their stuff and also provide an exceptional customer experience. I was looking at cars for my son recently and not being sure what to look for, we took the car we were interested in it to them for an inspection. They were very thorough - picked up a few issues that the dealer then fixed and also gave my son some excellent advice on maintenance etc. All round a fantastic experience - will definitely be taking the car back there for tuning and servicing - thanks guys.

I'm glad I tried out the team as the service was great. My neighbor suggested I try MRT so I just had a 100,000km service completed on my Mazda 6. Very happy with their professionalism and quality of work. Was a little surprised at some of the performance cars there - was this the right place? But I suppose it proves they must know what they are doing. Highly recommended.

Had my EvoX tuned there. Car has MHI turbo, aftermarket cams and full exhaust and is now running beautifully smooth and strongly right throughout the rev range. Very impressive driveability everywhere. Top job, thanks for what you've done. Greg

This place tries to overcharge you for everything and talk real technical with you about every problem possible, thinking you don't understand entirely and leave it to them.

Had a minor service done recently, & I cannot be happier. Although it's only a minor service,the whole team has been so dedicated and have shown good customer service! Truly appreciate the efforts from the team, an indication of good leadership and values. Will definitely recommend and return, thank you.
