Buyer Beware.
El Patio is a business that puts profits above education and its subscribers. I paid hundreds for services that were not received and have been ignored by El Patio ever since.
Approximate cost: $600
I took the travel course at El Patio, a five week course, just learning the essentials for travel.
Learning a language, or being introduced to a language is overwhelming, El Patio provided a comfortable, 'Spanish/Latin' environment to learn in. Course content was relevant and thorough, not too overwhelming, teachers friendly and knowlegable. I highly recommend this course for travellers. I won't say I came out of the 5 weeks ready for Spain, but it is a really good introduction to the language and has given me a headstart and provided motivation to practice before I head off.
P.S. If the travel course is anything to go by, I would definitely recommend the school for those interested in studying Spanish.
