i went to go to get my eyebrows waxed here and i was really disappointed i paid $80 and really didnt receive any exceptional shaping or service and to make things worse i was sort of pressurized and bullied into booking a facial (which i never turned up to shhh!)...Yeah i really wouldnt recommend the eyebrow shaping i am not sure what anything else is like but in general the service wasnt great i felt uncomfortable and bullied xx

I can't believe the last post. I've been going there for over a year and have never had such an experience. The standards there are the highest in the industry. They never re-dip any waxing spatulas. Totally hygienic and my eyebrows have never looked better. Makes me wonder if that post was posted by an employee of Wax Fx (where ever that is). I had a girlfriend who worked at Eli Wilson and she said she's never worked at a better salon. Impeccable standards. She left to go overseas so is no longer there.

Maybe you caught them on a bad day.

Had this experience a few months ago so my info is old though I've heard through friends that not much has changed. My usual great therapist was booked out weeks in advance so i thought i would book an appointment to have my eyebrows shaped here as they claimed to be specialists on their website. I rang and spoke to some guy only to be bombarded with a hundred and one options all of which seemed over priced and unnecessarily complicated. Then on the day of my appointment I went in only to be told the therapist I was booked with was no longer there. The owner then rescheduled me to another time and assured me I would be looked after by none other than herself. Upon arriving for my next appointment i was made to wait no less than 35mins to be taken through by which time I was ready to storm out had my eyebrows not been in desperate need. Once in the room I was again assaulted with information I didn't need to hear - All I wanted was a frigging eb wax! After being told how difficult and hairy my eb's were not to mention how desperate my skin was in need of a facial I felt about as offended as i thought i could possibly be. Throughout the treatment she kept leaving the room to answer phones, chat to other clients and order the other staff around all the time never forgetting to keep pushing all her other services and product info at me. By the time she was done I had been there another 35mins and at the end of it all she got one of the other girls to "finish me off"
I have never felt less like a person and more like a potential dollar sign in all my experience of waxing salons. After all of that I was asked to pay $40 for the honer of such a service!
