Many thanks to Lauren for making our stay at The Castlemaine Hideaway in the Trees a seamless experience. The property itself is secluded amongst native Australian bush and is modernly decorated with all necessities. We even had a mob of kangaroos pass by on the first day! If you're looking for a secluded and quiet pet-friendly place in the middle of the bush then try The Castlemaine Hideaway in the Trees.

Lauren, congratulations go to you for what you offer at The Queenslander - what an amazing place to stay. Just out of Noosa but within walking distance of both Hastings Street and Noosa Junction. The premises has such a relaxing feel to it.
Lauren was very prompt in response to our enquiry - we found her extremely capable/efficient. First holiday away for a while and Lauren was one step ahead of every question we had about the Noosa area we we have not been there previously. Photos/description of the listing were spot-on. Her wealth of knowledge on Noosa area was immeasurable, her recommendations on where to eat/play/shop were on-the-ball. The Welcome Pack provided was so comprehensive. We have already recommended her to two of our friends with holiday properties and will certainly use her in future to book another holiday. Bravo ellecor

I would like to thank Lauren from Ellecor for setting us up with the best holiday we have had in a long time. Staying at THE GUMS just out of Noosa was just truly amazing. It lacked for nothing and the setting nestled in the gums was the most peaceful setting. We went with our grown up children for a family birthday celebration and everything that the property was just so beautiful. Lauren’s attention to detail when liaising with her was second to none. Congratulations Lauren, you far exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be using your services in the future.

Our recent stay at The Queenslander was nothing short of amazing. We have 2 children, and the facilities at the Queenslander allowed for both children and adults to have an enjoyable holiday. The dress ups/board games and amazing pool kept the kids well entertained, whilst Mum and Dad could watch over happily from the supersized deck, with a cold beer and glass of bubbles in hand. Love love love the Queenslander and can't wait for our next stay. Lauren, you were an absolute pleasure to deal with from the point of our booking right through to our check out. Nothing was ever a bother. Would highly recommend ellecor Holiday Management to all of our friends.

After our stay at Castlemaine Hideaway in the Trees Lauren emailed me and asked for an Air BnB 5 star review and indicated in return she would write a positive review for me as the guest. I gave a 5 star review and yet she proceeded to write a less than positive review which left a bad taste in my mouth. I felt I had been conned into writing a positive review. No idea why she would act in such a manner but I guarantee it has cost the host (ie her client) revenue in that we would never stay there or in any other Ellecor managed properties and neither will our friends or family.

Adrian/Harrison, Im not surprised to receive this nasty review after your recent phone call threatening to take me and my business down! After each booking I email guests asking If you had a wonderful time and everything was as you had hoped, Id love for you to post a 5 star review to Airbnb, however if there is anything we can improve on or any maintenance issues that require attention Id appreciate you letting me know. I have never and will never con anyone into giving me a 5 star review and definitely do not suggest that I will give a 5 star review in return for a 5 star review. Your response to my email was Thanks Lauren, we had a very positive experience and gave a 5 star rating. A beautifully appointed and well maintained house you then also left a very complimentary review on Airbnb.
After your familys stay the owner, who cleans the property commented that the house was really grotty and wasnt left to the standard shes used to, citing for example that a rubbish bin had been filled without replacing the bin liner and contained among other things, a dirty nappy.
Ive been an Airbnb Superhost for 18 consecutive quarters and believe its important to give an honest account of my experience with each group of guests as this allows other hosts to ensure the guests they select to stay in their homes will look after them, as they are just that, someones home, not a hotel room.
The review I left on your profile wasnt in any way nasty and in no way justifies the threatening phone call I received from you after you read it and to be honest, I could have been a lot more specific about the condition of the property upon your departure, but as to this point you had been very nice to deal with, I didn't - Although we didn't meet, Harrison was easy to communicate with. There was never any threat to take down you or your business. If that was my intention I would have for starters expressed my dissatisfaction on all three of the websites you asked me to provide positive feedback on. I have limited my comments to just this one forum as I think this is a reasonable and proportionate response.
I have spoken with other air bnb hosts and know I am well within my rights to be dissatisfied with the management of this experience. I spent 3 hours tidying and cleaning. It rained all week and with a dirt and gravel driveway there was always going to be some grime coming in. I swept the whole place and mopped the entrance where we removed our shoes. As far as items of misplaced rubbish please view that minor error in the context of us having taken 4 days worth of rubbish outside and sorted into recyclables and rubbish. Dishes were cleaned, used towels properly placed, everything packed up etc etc.
If you were looking for perfection you need to communicate that clearly to guests and not include the $150 cleaning fee in the rental cost.
There was a gross misalignment in expectations around the check out that you would be advised to better manage in the future for the sake or hosts, guests, and the wider Airbnb community. What made an unpleasant experience even more grating was the whole emphasis on gaining positive ratings.
Anyway I have said my piece and have more productive things to do and I am sure you do too.
The Hideaway was a great family escape, close to Castlemaine, well maintained and looked after by thoughtful owners. Lauren managed all of the info well, and kept us in the loop with all we needed. A lovely weekend even though it was one of the coldest of the year outside. The firepit outside kept us warm and heating inside was cosy. We will happily return...

The Queenslander was such a beautiful home to stay in. We would highly recommend it to others, it had everything we could have hoped for in a holiday home, and the service we had from Lauren was fantastic. The dress-up costume box and board games were a particular hit with our kids!
