Went to this place with colleagues after work as we wanted to have chinese food and this is the only place in victor. Don't really like their food. the fried rice was oily and under seasoned, the spring roll is quite salty and their satay is just deep fried chicken pieces in skewers with satay sauce. food wise, need lots of improvement. Will only suggest u go there if you really really want to have chinese food

Doesn't sound very nice at all, definitely one to avoid.

I have dined here several times for birthday banquets and found it to be satisfactory in terms of variety, presentation, and quality of the food served. Service was good, and the pricing was what you would expect to pay for the quality of the food. The restaurant is spacious and is good for reasonably priced fare when you don't want to spend a fortune.

We ate here last Sunday night (of the long weekend), with a group of 8 people.
We only booked about an hour before arriving, but were happily accomodated. There were only 8 or 10 other diners in the restaurant, but there was a constant stream of customers calling for takeaway.
We chose to have the full $30 per head banquet. There were several other options, starting from about $20, and a couple more around $25 per person. Individual mains were priced mostly around $11.60 to $13.80 per serve.
Our banquet started with Prawn Crackers, King Prawn Cutlets and Spring Rolls. We were almost all unanimous on agreeing that the spring rolls were the best we had ever tasted!
Following this was a choice of either Chicken Sweetcorn Soup or Crabmeat Sweetcorn soup, thick, full of flavour and very tasty (again a unanimous hit!)
This was followed by a quick succession of mains (two large plates per course, which was very adequate for 8 people), including Garlic Prawns, Lemon Chicken, Honey Chicken, a couple of beef dishes, and more plus heaps of nice fried rice.
Meal was finished simply with a nut sundae, simple, but a nice, refreshing finish to the meal.
Service was prompt and friendly, and two and a half hours of good food and chatter passed very quickly.
The restaurant is a fairly typical Chinese Restaurant, with the usual Chinese prints on brick walls, but it was quite spacious and our round table accomodated 8 adults comfortably, with plenty of room to move chairs in and out without colliding with other diners.
We were all very happy with our meal, agreeing that this Restaurant was a very pleasant place to dine, and will happily return in the future.

Approximate cost: $most between $11.60 to $13.80
