After having walked past this place with the huge line up of people waiting to be served a couple of times I decided to join in and see what they were all waiting for.
I was not disappointed. Piping hot little puffs filled with creamy custard. Great Value for money and worth the wait.
20 delicious little puffs for just $5

We were walking past here on a rainy day and decided to have some. These cream puffs are nice, not overly sweet which is to my liking. However, we were only had the option of having warm ones, not hot ones and that was a bit of a disappointment. However, they were reasonably priced and hopefully taste a whole lot better when hot!

After we shop inside Haymarket we must come here for the delicious little custard puffs from the tiny hole in the wall set up. Honestly the queue for the custard cream puffs is ridiculous, they are 30c each or 4 for $1 ( but when we came a few weeks ago the lady gave us 5 for $1). This made for two very happy kids!! They have a machine on constantly with lots of custard puffs being made and ready to sell, they are utterly delicious when eaten warm and fresh. The Customer service is rushed and hurried , but that might be to the constant queue of people, served and served quick.

Approximate cost: $30c

love that custard puff ball but be careful it sometimes has a very hot custard filling that could burn your lip and tongue. 3 for $1 quite good value.

A small, well maintained bakery which has all the delicious asian buns you'd ever want to try! It is reasonably priced (compared to other asian bakeries) and I recommend their cocktail buns.

They also have specials towards the evening- the egg tarts are half price! There is no difference in quality if you eat them on the same day! If you really want, you can just pop them in the fridge and the next day reheat them (although they are not as nice then).

Yummy buns which smell soo nice- especially when Chinatown is pouring or rainy. Just duck in for a cheap eat and feel comfortable amongst the freshly baked buns!

Very delicious and there is always a long line waiting for the emperor's puffs! Personally I love the egg tarts- they are so smooth and rich. With so many customers at the end of the day the store may feel a bit stuffy but it doesn't take away from the delicious sweet bread!

Approximate cost: $1- $20

Their breads are of good quality but some of them have way too much sugar and you sometimes feel that its unhygienic there even though it looks clean. Pretty good value and great emperor puffs! A must try!
