We attended a wedding here and considered using the place for our own. It is a nice small to medium sized function centre and 'one stop shop' that does all inclusive packaging with food, decoration, DJ and MC. Price wise they are quite good value however we have found better. Friendly staff gave great service at all times. The food was plentiful but could have been a little better.

The Palais main ballroom is just beautiful for a large wedding or event. We have been here twice and have always been impressed. The food served was not only generous in size but it was extremely tasty and good quality. They do all inclusive packages with decoration, food, DJ and MC and we cannot find any reason to fault them in their work.

We shopped around ALOT for a complete function centre for our wedding and are extremely glad we chose Castel D'oro. Their service was absolutely perfect - friendly and helpful to deal with every step of the way. Their function rooms are beautiful and with decoration included it makes the job so much easier and affordable. Food was plentiful and generous and the party atmosphere, DJ and MC provided by the centre were absolutely perfect. We cannot stop recommending the venue and in fact a few of ours guests have decided to use the place also!

In terms of atmosphere this place is great - fancy decor makes it a hip and trendy looking lounge. They are quite expensive however and security is so tough just to get in - they do bag checks and don't allow you to bring in your own bottle of water! Their equipment is good and if you don't mind the price it is well worth the visit.

We used to go to this Karaoke place often, but that was before a lot of the newer Karaoke bars in Sydney opened. I personally think the place needs complete renovation. It is dark and smelly and definately out dated. The last time I went there the equipment and technology was also in much need of an upgrade.

This cake shop has a better range of cakes for special occasions however for the price they charge, I think I would prefer not to buy my wedding or birthday cake from an Asian store (unless of course you speak the language). It can be difficult to communicate what you need and I would say their service is quite unfriendly and abrupt. For self service cakes this place is good but perhaps not the place to go for custom ordered cakes.

Furama is a small chinese cake shop that also makes special order cakes for weddings, birthdays etc. Their cakes are very well priced and pretty good quality for their price, although 'asian' cakes are never as rich and tasty as other cakes. Service could be improved as most staff speak limited english however they do always manage to get the job done with our cake orders in the past.

We had one of our pest and building inspections carried out by NSW Pre Purchase. Their reports are okay - perhaps not as 'fancy' and easy to read as some other inspectors we have used in the past, but the staff their are responsive and prompt. The only downside is although they advertise their prices as being competitive, they are higher than other inspectors of the same calibre.

We have used Watson Buchan a number of times to prepare land survey reports. They have great service, are always friendly to deal with and have a simple 'no fuss' approach. Their prices are competitive and best of all they are quite prompt with delivering the reports which is exactly what we need!
