Great value and service at this local hairdresser. I'm a regular and have been coming here since I moved to the area. Easy to recommend.

As a new client I was very impressed with the warm and friendly atmosphere as soon as you arrive at Emphasis. David and Louise are obviously very experienced and knowledgeable with all-things hair related, and with the coffee and cookies, and plenty of laughs, as well as an excellent cut and colour, the whole experience was very enjoyable.

I had my hair cut and coloured by David for the first time recently and he did an excellent job - not just by giving a quality cut and colour but by taking the time to understand what I wanted and why (not something I think I’ve ever been asked before at the hairdresser but was a worthwhile discussion!). Also impressed with the business’ commitment to local charities.

Absolutely brilliant hairdressers here. They assess and discuss changes and improvements- I've got curly hair - and it always looks great when I've been - have also taught me how to look after my locks - and keep my hair healthy and looking good. Highly recommended.

David has saved my hair on multiple occasions. I have been coming here for almost a decade now, and am always treated like family.

David kindly took on a tricky colour correction for me (mistake from another salon), he went above and beyond to ensure I was happy with the results. I normally find going to the hairdresser quite boring but this definitely isn't the case at Emphasis, David and I joked around as if we'd been friends for years. A lovely little salon, great energy and super experienced colourists and stylists, highly recommend!

Emphasis Hair is not my regular salon but on several occasions I've needed a blow wave for a special event. The owner and team members have been so accommodating and helpful in fitting me in at the last moment and ensured that I left looking great. This is a really lovely, friendly salon that offer a range of great services.
