1 review about Ena Greek Street Food

We (2 of us) visited Ena for dinner and were so disappointed!
While the main courses looked generous, the variety of sharing dishes we ordered between us were small considering their price, and not as tasty as we'd hoped. The saganaki was thin, and measly for the price, the octopus was tough and the acidity in the dish wasn't well balanced out, and the eggplant croquettes were a nice texture, but a bit bland. The beetroot salad was a tasty combination of ingredients however was overdressed, so was soggy. My espresso martini was nice, and there were some Greek beers which were nice.
The staff were all really friendly, which was great, but a number of tables were left waiting a long time (for menu's, plates to be cleared, dessert menu's to be brought, drinks forgotten, bills to be brought etc.), which resulted in an impatient feeling in the dining room.
As we eat a lot of excellent Greek food in Oakleigh, this was a let down for a more expensive dinner.

Approximate cost: $120
