Awful. The atmosphere and location of the restaurant was beautiful but the food was just horrendous. Since it was the first meal of our holiday me and my husband decided to splurge and each ordered a porterhouse steak ($34.00 each). He ordered well done and I ordered medium. Our side salads orders were mixed up (a forgiveable mistake we thought) but both our steaks were so overcooked we couldn't cut through them. They were so unpleasant, chewy dry and uneditable. We complained and sent them back. The manager talked to their "team of chefs" who after much rigmarole deemed our steak to be cooked just fine, even though my "medium" steak has almost no pink in the middle and husbands was so past anything that could even be consumed by a dog. We were told if were not happy we could order something else and be charged for both our new meals and the steak or have our original steaks bought back to us reheated (how's that for service!- PLEASE). As we did not want to fork out any more money we had the steaks bought back, however we could not bring ourselves to eat them. After all this the manager asked us to "please come back".

It doesn't seem that the chef/chefs know how to cook proteins at all as another reviewer commented she had undercooked pork and overcooked salmon too. Don't waste your money. Go to one of the other many cafes up the road and come back and enjoy the view later. This place is not worth your time or money.

We dined here on Saturday over a weekend visit to Busselton. We were warmly welcomed by a staff member and shown our table immediately (we made reservations). Nice table facing the ocean. It was pretty full when we got there so I would recommend reserving on a weekend.

We shared a simple bread and EVOO and balsamic to start. It was ok, pretty regular. For mains, I had a wonderful salmon for $34 (menu says it's served medium rare but mine was closer to cooked, but I didn't mind as I like salmon in away). It came with corn bread (a bit dry but ok), grilled fennel, and potato matchsticks with some balsamic reduction and a round of herbed butter. It was generous, flavoursome and I was really satisfied. My partner had the pork belly dish ($34) but unfortunately, it wasn't well executed as he felt the pork was a teeny weeny bit undercooked and the skin wasn't crispy. You could not cut it with a knife (chewy and hard) although it was a rather big slab.

For dessert, we shared a very nice lemon meringue tart ($7.50, I think).

Service very friendly and I would recommend this restaurant!

The best fish n chips ever! Every time we visit Busselton we always get our fish n chips here and eat on the foreshore. Always fresh and tasty, great quality and price. Thank you!

The position of this restaurant is great. Right at the foot of the jetty however the food is very average. Basic and in inventive. Not worth the premium prices they expect.

You can't beat the view here. it is gorgeous. Meals are nice, nothing to rave home about but good range as you can eat from the cafe which is cheap. The service was pretty average but living in WA I know this is pretty common with country towns so I was a bit more understanding. Can be very busy so have a back up plan if you don't like waiting

Approximate cost: $25
