Over the last few months I've had some unfavourable experiences with picking up my medication, especially by the head pharmacist (apparently owner) Peter Millikan.
He consistently asks me nosey questions, of which he does not need the answer e.g. why are you on this medication - whats WRONG with you? why are you on weekly pick ups for this medication? what did you do to get yourself put on weekly pick ups?

Today this escalated as (by instruction of a hospital) I went to pick up my medication a day early.
I asked him to call a number I was given to confirm it was okay to pick up my medication - he did not call, and instead refused to give me medication that I NEED to take daily.
He continued to ask me personal questions such as 'why is all your medication gone?' (this was due to an attempted overdose/suicide), and stated that he refused to give me any medication until I gave him such details.

I will never go back there again. His job is not to ask nosey questions, and by taking one look at the names of the medications I'm on, he would know they are antidepressants and mood stabilisers.

He belittled my situation, and made me feel unsafe - and by refusal of my medication made my already unstable mood worse.
All he had to do was contact a number given to me to approve distributions, but instead he decided to speak unkindly to a client.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!

Fabulous pharmacy. No gimmicks (junk such as handbags or non-pharmaceutical stuff) in the shop just great good old fashion service. Very helpful staff

We recently had a cooking burns emergency late on a Saturday night and they were the only chemist open. The pharmacist was polite and professional and recommended a cream to sort the burn out quickly (it wasn't bad enough to go to emergency). I am really happy with their advice and discretion.

Did not have a problem here pity about upstairs tainting the name.

Was out of town and requiring a script before 9p at night and found this place. Whilst the price of the script item was about the same as other chemist the thing I found was the understanding the staff had for me and providing me valuable information for someone out of town. Great service and people skills

The best part of this chemist is their opening hours. When other chemists are shut, these guys are open and are prompt about filling scripts.

After having a crazy night with with my 17month old. this was the only chemist open late for me to get some meds for my little man. Great when most are closed at 6pm.
