Extremely bad service. Lots of outage, never get in to contract. Very poor service, always putting blame on NBN supplier. Please get another provider.

Terrible ISP.... They are heavily congested since around January and obviously not putting money into the business.

The reports from others of excessive manipulation of packets and UDP makes it unusable most nights.... Is it wide spread who knows...but the masses are speaking and moving off.....

I have been with exetel for about 3 years now. Any problems that I have had have been quickly fixed. They don't have a call centre as such, but I've never had issues with this in the past. I've found price wise they are the best that I can get in my area.

Have had Exetel as my broadband service provider for several years now and think they offer great value for money. The technical support is not so good as you have to lodge a support ticket online which is a bit difficult when you cannot get online. However compared to the two previous ISPs I used they are great. Have not had any interruption to the service and they don't hit you up with sneaky charges like on very big ISP that I went through and whose support was truly abysmal.

If you have an ABN, you can get the cheapest mobile internet for ANYWHERE with Exetel, where you basically only pay for what you use at 1.5c/MB. By using this service on my mobile and making calls out only on VoIP, sometimes my SIM bills are less than the cost of a can of coke!

The best "self service" support system I have seen. If you are used to traditional support holding your hand, Exetel may not be for you. If you have some technical know-how, why subsidise other people's needs?

We have had naked ADSL2+ and VOIP for 18 months. Unfortunately the teething problems never went away due to line quality issues and Exetel was unable to rectify them. In the end they terminated our service rather than try and provide us with a working service and have been very difficult to communicate with. They have moved most of their customer service to Sri Lanka now and in my experience, the Sri Lankans have been very poorly informed and generally rude. If you can manage to speak to an Australian, you will probably have a better result, but it's not easy. Sadly, I no longer recommend Exetel, their standards have slipped atrociously and they do not value their customers at all.
