AVOID!, Exponline treat customers with contempt!!...Warranty commitments are not honored!!!

I have been trying to have mum's phone replaced under warranty since May 2015 last year.
It's a lesson to all of us that you get what you pay for.
The customer service has been nothing short of appalling.
After 20+ emails (dont even try calling the local number!), received an email from [redacted name] who was apologetic and promised to process a refund so we returned the phone
for the 3rd time.

Based on the track and trace they received the phone back 7 weeks ago.
Have they processed the refund...No!
Have they confirmed receipt of the phone....No!
Have they responded to a single email...No!

As per the other reviews, they were great at giving us the runaround and I suspect they do this to drag the issue out beyond the time frame where one can raise a disputed with Paypal and/or your credit card provider.

If you have already purchased a phone and experience an issue, don’t put up with their stalling tactics, make sure you dispute the transaction with your credit card provider and demand a charge-back within the allowable time frame which is 3-6 months depending on the bank.

If you haven't already purchased, highly recommend that you pay a little bit extra and buy a phone locally with a manufacturer’s warranty, otherwise good luck, I've done my best to enlighten you about how Exponline treats its customers.

Approximate cost: $400

Stay away from this company at all costs. They suck you in with great prices and supply dodgy products. I have bought a Galaxy S6. The first phone failed with a black screen. The replacement failed twice stuck in boot loop. Even the guys at the Samsung shop told me to get a refund. I tried with no luck, still trying now. We bought phones through them years ago and they are still going now, which is why I bought again. Biggest mistake ever. In the calendar is Ramadan, which you can't turn off. Great if you are Muslim but unfortunately I am not. No Christian holidays at all. Its amazing how much info you loose when your phone breaks. I have lost everything 3 times now and its a bigger inconvenience than I was prepared for. Because it got stuck in boot loop it could not be backed up. The fix for it was to restore to factory settings. Happened when I tried to turn the phone on after being off.
DON'T BE SUCKED IN. BUY FROM A REPUTABLE ONLINE PROVIDER OR SHOP!!
