I used these guys for an end of lease clean ($500) after getting their details from my real estate agent. Being a recommended cleaner, I had expected a thorough clean and all the things listed on their website as being included in the job. Since this needed to be good enough to get my bond back, I expected it to be at least better than what I could do on my own in a weekend.

Booking the job, it was easy, friendly and seemed to go smoothly up until the day they were supposed to come out and do the clean. I had booked a full house clean plus steam clean the carpets. Keys were left under the mat so they could let themselves in. I got a call around lunchtime from the carpet cleaner to say that he had arrived but couldn't find the keys and the other cleaners weren't there. After some frustrated phone calls to the company, the other cleaners (who had the keys) were located. That evening after I had finished work, I went to the house to inspect the job. First I could not find the keys where they should have been left, and I could see through the window that cleaning equipment, a ladder and a stereo had been left in the living room. When I finally got in using a spare key, I found that only half the job had been done. The next day after several frustrated phone calls to Eziclean I was told that the cleaners had not finished the job and were going back to complete it the next day. This was unacceptable because not only they had not bothered to call me to inform me of this, I had also organised other contractors to come and do work at the house that day and so I had to rebook those at short notice. Luckily I had arranged the keys to be handed back a few days later and not relied on the clean to be done on time because even after completing the clean, they had failed to clean the window tracks, flyscreens, wipe any of the kitchen cupboard interiors or the laundry entirely. They also failed to sweep the front and back as specified in their list services for the end of lease clean. So despite getting a cleaner to do it for me, I still had to go through and finish cleaning the house in order to get my bond back.

On top of the shoddy work and general stuff around, they also charged my credit card twice. Despite apologising and claiming to have refunded the money 4 times, I had to resort to sending a chargeback through my bank in order to get my money back.

I bought a voucher on an internet bulk buying site so I am not sure if the service was a true reflection of what I would have received had I been a fullprice paying customer. The staff were friendly from the booking receptionist to the couple who came to do the clean. The service was good but I wasn't wowed!!!
