Good access to parking, good displays and entertaining for young children. I’d bring my little ones back again in future - just wish there was a family pass option as can become quite expensive for what it is to be honest ($56 for 2 adults and a 3yo).

Some thoughts to improve:
>Kids rides and vending machines that accept payment with card (I can’t remember when I last had cash!).
>Toilet block near the top of the hill. It’s a big ask to try and get down to the one and only toilet block at the bottom with a busting 3 year old! There is a sign that warns you, but when a toddler needs to go, they need to go.
>Shaded grassy area to sit and have a picnic. It was hard to find somewhere to sit and comfortably have something to eat with a toddler and a baby.
>Replace the big metal slide in the playground. I haven’t seen a metal slide since my childhood in the 80’s! My 3yo burnt the backs of his legs going down it (was only a 20 degree day - I take responsibility for not thinking to tell him not to go down, but I was also there with a baby and pram and didn’t really expect this to be an issue at a playground!).

If you’re in a wheelchair - make sure you take someone who is super strong and can push you up the hills! If you’ve got a pram, be prepared! It’s do-able, just very steep!

Approximate cost: $56

Whilst the place is fairly average, it could be a lot better. It definitely needs a revamp as the each of the fairytale stations look creepy and old especially for kids. One of the stations has a creepy cat carrying a dead bloodied bird/duck.

The Camelot playground is so old and also needs a refurshiment. It hasn't changed for over 25 years. The slide is very old and on hot days, it can burn the skin.

The spinning egg smells like urine.

It would be good to see employees around the venue dressed up as fairies or fairytale characters to give kids a chance to take photos and make it more of a magical experience for them.

With the entry fee that is being charged, I believe a full refurbushment is in order.

All of the dolls need to be replaced aside from the ones in the Aladdin and Ali Baba cave as they are the only half decent ones.

This place has plenty more potential.

We felt sorry for the lady selling coffees. She had to take orders, serve customers and make the coffees in between all of that which created extensive waiting times as there was no other resource to help her out.
After the extensive wait, the coffee was really bad. Tasted like drinking plain long life milk.

All in all, it is very disappointing that the park has had limited updates and refurbishments completed for over 25 years.

We had the best time - so much to see and do and the play park area is excellent and entertains littlies (and grown ups too) - a lot of walking involved which kept us all fit - such a lovely place to visit as an adult as I have such fond memories from my childhood - do yourself a favour and visit - you'll have fun and if you're really lucky you'll see the fairy wrens too :)

Great for the younger kids (around 5 year olds love it). Very much like the Myers Xmas Windows with the fairy tale characters, but you had to work your way up a steep path up the mountain. Good view along the way of the country side. Would be a good idea if there was a toilet at the top of mountain, as kids always need to go. And make sure you rug up warmly as its very windy and cold out there. Good B.B.Q facilities.

Well, we finally got around to coming back here which I visited when a child. They had way less then and now it's like a magical country - the natural rock has been worked with pathways and gardens and at each turn there is the wonderful house or cave or window with Fairy Tale stories come to life. The animated light and sound buttons were a real hit too. It's a bit of a steep walk all the way to the top and hold onto your hat on a windy day!

Take some little change to throw into the Frog Prince pond - I got one in his crown but then it bounced out - and in the Wishing Well up the top. We took some funny photos with the two giant monkeys as well.

Carpark could be a little bigger, but once you drive up and the man serves you at the gate, it's sort of free rein wherever you go. Save the playground for last - Camelot. It's a total winner and has not been "wrap my child in cotton wool" gotten to yet. There are chains and tyres and tunnels and a real roundabout and big slide and all sorts of fun things kids will totally love because they're not plastic and sanitised.

We took a picnic lunch and ate at the tables and then bought a little hot food from the kiosk (tiny bit pricey $5 for small box of chips). Visit the gift shop to buy a fairy water ball or grinning gnome before you go as well.

Old and young will have a wonderful time here. There's a model train exhibit as well and a room where you can see the history of the park right from it's beginnings as the dream of a German immigrant - to what it is today. Real Aussie no BS fun!

But the map they give you on the website to travel all the back roads took too long. We came home via the highway for a shorter trip.

$16 adult, $8 child and under 3 free. Ramps everywhere and no steps but it is a bit of a push up the hill. Toilet block central and clean. Lots of coin operated electric barbeques and a large Castle sheltershed type building for bad weather at lunch time.

My favourite thing? ... ooh now that's hard. Toss up between Aladdin's cave and the giant water wheel next to the sword making guy's house. Or Snow White ... or Little Red Riding Hood ...or Hansel and Gretel and the Magic Mushroom pathway ...

Open from 10.00am to 5.00pm day we were there in July school holidays, but the food shut at 3.00 pm.

Take a photo either as you arrive or are leaving of the castle towers on top of the local rock - it's an iconic view.

the kids had an absolute ball here. there was so many different story windows they could check out. we made a day of it and once we were done with the nursery rhymes went to there park area and ate our packed lunch . great pricing considereing you can stay there all day but definately pack your own lunch as it can be quite expensive

great place to take the young ones. they had an absolute ball running around checking out all the diffrent scenes etc. they have a park too so once there done you can stay and play for a bit longer. its quite hilly though so not great if you have a pram or a fussy toddler who wants to walk .. great for tiring the kids out though! haha we had a great family day out though thats for sure

What a beautiful place to spend a few hours with your children/grandchildren/nieces/nephews. Picnic spots, fairy tales, and your imagination runs wild! Definitely somewhere we will always remember and will take our grandchildren to when we have some!

this is an ideal place to take the little kids for a picnic or a bbq, it has lots of attractions all nursery rhymes and fairy tale characters that light up and become animated...our kids used to love coming here when they were little...be warned, it does get very chilly and windy on winter days and is more suited to the warmer weather

This is just the place to make you go back to your childhood.. when you believed fairies lived in your garden. We took a picnic lunch and our niece and nephew, and had a lovely day exploring the fairy tale houses and playing.

Great for everyone from toddlers to oldies!
