Great place for late night decent food in the city. Frequent here before a night out. I love the vegetarian spring rolls, tasty with spices but the $10 is a little high i think. The prawn rice paper rolls are also a favourite.for $20 i love the angus beef. It has so much flavour. Situated where cafe 21 used to be inside the casino. Well worth a visit. Staff are always attentive and charming. You can see the chefs in the kitchen cooking from most vantage points.

I was so excited to try Fat Noodle for the first time. I was a customer of Cafe 21 for the last 2 decades and while I was sad to see it go I was so excited for Fat Noodle. I had high expectations as I have watched many TV shows with Luke Nguyen showcasing his food and it always looked amazing. Sadly though the food I tried did not live up to the high expectations I had set. I ordered the Fat Pho Noodle Soup, Luke Nguyen's signature dish and it was shockingly monotone in flavour, it was in desperate need of some acidity. Some lime would of made the world of difference. I also ordered the fried rice and again sadly it was rather boring. The prices are reflective of a celebrity chef dining establishment, the food however is not. Sorry Luke but I wish they had left it as Cafe21.

A Luke Nguyen branded restaurant situated in the buzzing Brisbane Casino's former Cafe21.

Here you will find Asian dishes with a strong focus on "Vietnamese" food. If credibility and reputation counts for anything, I suggest Luke should review this establishment as I do not believe it reflects his image and what he stands for. The food is not good Asian/Vietnamese nor is it good fusion.

This is a disappointing restaurant where the food FAR from hits the mark exacerbated with the hefty prices. Yes it is a nice setting to dine in but when you account for the below par food and staffing, it does not cut the mustard and will leave a lot of Luke's fans shaking their heads.

Don't come here for excellent food, it's more of a place for gamblers that just need a feed - that's it - no more, no less.

It's times like this I wish Cafe21 wasn't replaced.

Approximate cost: $18
