I really like the atmosphere created by the decor here, and the variety of foods is great to feed even the fussiest of eaters with pizza or seafood or meats etc. Highly recommended for wonderful service and providing an overall enjoyable dining experience.

It's hard to rate the value of these over priced buffets as high. However the food is great here and the desserts are exquisite. You need to save some room for the dessert. The usual seafood and carvery is available and tasty at that.

Approximate cost: $85+

I was taken to this special place for a birthday. I loved the view into the night lights of Hydne Park. I had been once before and the cost per person was $90 pp but now on a normal weeknight it is $60 pp. A revamping had made the food more appealing and the seafood is was particularly my delight. I found that my plate disappeared rather quickly if I had gone to view another delight but the waiters were diligent to keep their distance. Time restraints are dependent upon numbers and we had the night to enjoy but other nights are a bit more restricted. One of the costliest things about city restaurants is the parking and this is no exception. I guess I am reaching the stage where the lack of good mix to a buffet is getting to me and would find it best to stick to a la carte for my tastes to be satisfied but for those who want to pick and choose this is an nice place to do it. Seafood did not disappoint and the fare was well presented and fresh. I like more vegetables hot to be presented but this is not on in buffets. I would consider this place again as it is consistent but watch the sat night prices and the special celebratory days. The charges go UP!!!

This restaurant was apparently well-known as having the best buffet in Sydney. Well, for $95 a head, we expected more. The seafood spread was OK, but I understand that they used to serve lobsters - I guess they got too pricey! The seafood consisted of oysters (small and not the freshest), prawns, crabs, mussels and I think, yabbies. There was also a range of sushi which was pretty well done and fresh. The range of cold and hot food was pretty limited, considering the price they charged and the cooking station seemed to be doing one dish only. The desserts however, were amazing and as some of the mousses/jellies/custards and brulees etc were served in little shot glasses/pots it was a great chance to try a little of everything.

The breakfast buffet here is just AMAZING! If you can stay at the hotel and get a buffet breakfast included, take advantage! There is sooo much variety from pancakes and icecream, toast, omelettes, sunny side up eggs, cereal, juices, hash browns, bacon, fruit, a honeycomb stand (real straight from the hive it looks) - just awesome! They even have asian noodles at breakfast! I did find a live caterpilla on my plate underneath one of my strawberries, so be a little bit weary when picking our strawberries out. Overall, that caterpilla experience will not stop me from going back there. i absolutely loved it. i ate enough to fill me up for the whole day - lunch, dinner and snacks!! Awesome value!

Approximate cost: $42.00 for buffet if staying in the hotel
