Fantastic Bread, wished they had all of the breads everyday or at least Saturday and Sundays. Don't miss flavorless cakes

The best bread. The only bread. Well, maybe not the only bread, but definitely the best bread. The rest of the range isn't bad either. If I didn't run there and back I'd end up as fat as a seal!

I walk past this bakery every day on the way home from the station and always, ALWAYS slow down to look in the window because their selection of croissants, cakes and pizzas is always amazing. I don't shop there every day but I've bought bread and cakes from them before - the sourdough is worth the hype! Buy a larger loaf than you think you'll need because if you're anything like me half the loaf will go as soon as you get home.
Absolutely worth a look!

My first taste of Firebrand bread was immortalized in memory as I was with a friend in an unfamiliar part of town and could not thereafter locate the bakery for many long years. Recently rediscovered while traipsing along Glen Eira Road....(got that? GLEN EIRA....dont forget it!)
The BEST bread I have ever had the good fortune to experience.
Worth every cent!

Great sourdough bakery for bread made by purists. They use organic, biodynamic and unbleached flour in their breads. They are uncompromising in their quest for quality and their breads are delicious but a bit pricy. They do a standard sourdough every day and a different daily special, written up on a blackboard, including Irish soda bread and a fruit loaf. I love their sourdough pizza sold by the slice. Interesting toppings and a good lunch standby. The downside to this place is their baking schedule, which means bread is often not avaiable for sale until 1pm, not always convenient for the customer, but ensures the bakers have a normal life I suppose. Definitely one of my top 3 Melbourne bakers

Best bread EVER tasted! Make a beeline for Glen Eira Road and keep your eyes peeled for this tiny place. Easy to miss but never to forget....and a cult following that travel all the way in from the countryside whenever possible.
