I would not recommend purchasing a Groupon from First Dental Studio or any service of theirs based on my experience. Initially, I bought a Groupon deal and scheduled an appointment, which I had to cancel. The studio assured me they would honour the voucher for a future booking. After cancelling a subsequent appointment, which I did in advance, they allowed me to reschedule without any indication of an issue. However on arrival for the rescheduled appointment, I was informed that my voucher would not be honoured due to multiple cancellations. This was particularly frustrating as there was no communication of this policy beforehand, when I was rebooking. Living an hour from the city, I had chosen to try this studio based on the Groupon offer. While the receptionist was nice, the lack of clear communication was not it. A straightforward explanation during our phone conversation would have been greatly appreciated to avoid unnecessary inconvenience. Why let me keep rescheduling and then not honour the voucher? Why not let me know? Based on my experience, I cannot recommend their services. $90 down the drain.

I booked and paid through Groupon and told them that when I arrived. After the clean they refused to honour the Groupon because I had been there once before. They made me pay full price on top of the money I paid Groupon. They knew I was a returning customer when I arrived and if they told me there would be an issue then I would have never proceeded with the appointment. It ended up costing $178 for a 20 minute appointment. Very disappointed and will not be returning.

I've been going to Dr Vincent the last 4 visits and always walk out a happy patient. Going to the dentist used to be a dread for me until i was introduced to Dr Vincent. He explained every step of the way and let me know what i should do if needed. He is genuine and easy to talk to. He is a god sent to myself as well as my daughter. Have i not found him, i would still be walking around in pain and most probably be addicted to pain killer :-) has he not given me the help that i so needed. Going to the city just for dentist is now a trip i look forward to.

Absolutely rude receptionist.

I made an appointment for 11:45- I was running late and sent an email to inform the receptionist.

I also placed a call to ask if I was too late for the appointment. The receptionist repeatedly stated the appointment time, stating I was late and that the dentist thought I wasn’t coming so went for lunch (even though I had sent to email saying I was running late). I asked her to rebook the appointment. She stated I needed to be 15 minutes early to complete new client form. I asked to attend now to complete form. I attended directly after we got off the phone and completed the new client form which took less then 5 minutes. After this she continued to patronize me. I asked her if she wanted me to go somewhere else. She said that’s up to me. I said if you are going to continue to patronize me I will go somewhere else. She continued to argue with me.
I am not sure how you retain new clients when this is how they are treated.

I find this dental studio to offer high standard. I have been to both Allen and Vincent quite a few times and find they do a great job. Not the cheapest place but not sure you really want to look at fees when receiving dental work

I see Dr Meena Hegde at First Dental. She is very kind and does not seem to give fillings without reason (a problem i have found with other dentists). I really trust Dr Hegde and would not hesitate to recommend her to others. The location is really convenient too, if like me you work in the city.
