I had heard some really good things about this store, so I rang to ask if they had any discus in stock (I explained we lived almost 2 hours away so was ringing to save us a drive if they didn't have any in store at the moment) the guy who answered said "we have the largest discus range in Adelaide" so we took the almost 2 hour trip down there and then.

When we arrived we were greeted by cats, lose cats just walking around, the shop was untidy, and then after looking around for a while I couldn't find their discus tanks so had to ask a staff member...
Can you imagine my surprise when they had one discus in the entire store!!
I said to the sales person that I had rang that morning and was told "we have the biggest range of discus in Adelaide" and that that was why we took the 2 hour trip down, the sales person could not care less the reply I got was "Oh usually we do" and she turned her back and walked away.

I will never go back there and don't recommend them to anyone!

Drove 2 hours to buy fish and left with fish food ..was not at all impressed

what a great place of adventure to visit, with various rare and interesting animals, including a crocodile, Macaw, and roaming poodles, a cat, cocky and plenty to keep the kid's entertained, the stock is huge, well priced and their are many aquarioum's, one couldn't imagine being made, so their are many idea's for aquarium's, frog's, and small reptiles including enclosures and all one would need to care for their new pet, the owner's are delightful, friendly and your made to feel at home, I highly recomend at least a visit, and if your looking for a new pet, here is the place for idea's.

Didn't get to go too far into the shop to check out their wares. The cat and dogs put me off before I got too far. That is of course after I had to endure the young boy who nearly bowled me over as I walked through the door. Have rarely met such rude people and fortunately realised this before I spent my hard earned money. I did make several purchases that day but it was certainly not at this shop. Having seen the venom this women can expel from her mouth I have chosen to maintain anonymity with this review.

Shop is filthy, there are dogs running around everywhere and to top it off the owners arrogant & obnoxious kid mouths off at the customers. Given the disgraceful attitude of his parents I am not surprised. STAY AWAY from this business, they are rude, overpriced and are definitely NOT the "biggest and best in Australia". Petstock up the road are far far better.

Yes they have a good range of products but thats as far as it goes. They are grossly overpriced and the owners are incredibly rude. There are numerous other aquarium stores in the same area that offer better prices and service. IMO give this one a miss.

The proprietors really knows what they are talking about. Great old fashioned friendly service. The staff are fairly experienced with the wide range of fish as well as other animals they sell and related products that they supply.

when we had tropical fish we used fish haven to buy all fish and accessories they are always so helpful know what they are talking about open 7 days lots of fish

the shop was set up good and products great, but over priced and not good service
i have been to much better stores and cheaper as well, and fish were not as good

fantastic store with a great selection of fish. We ordered most of our fish from here and they are absolutely beautiful and healthy. the people are not overly helpful, but if you know what you want then this is the place to go.

The showroom can occasionally look messy and confusing but they have lots of fish tanks and lots of different types of fish and reptiles. And the staff are friendly.
