The first time I bought from FishPond I bought 2 books from the Twilight series.
Twilight and New Moon. They are within 2 days of having placed my order and came in very well packaged so that would have been dent proof and water proof and basically nothing would happen to them. Their prices were also amazing. I got Twilight for $9 !!! In Kmart it was going for $20 ! Amazing, Love you FishPond

Appalling. Ordered an important text book that was shown to be in stock. But it wasn't. Repeatedly they said that it was "8-10 days away" but after 7 weeks they cancelled the order. No way to contact them by phone or e-mail - had to log-in to page that tracked order. A second text book I ordered, did eventually arrive after 4 weeks. NEVER AGAIN

fishpond.com.au is pretty great. It's like amazon.com but Australian! How much that rock? (rhetorical question, needs no answer).

The prices are quite good, the only downer is that it's on the internet and there's the whole thing about internet danger involving credit cards and all. Today, though, everyone's getting used to it, so if you don't mind doing internet purchases than this site is great!

Great prices on a huge range of books. It is like having an Amazon but in Australia so we can feel more secure.

When I say huge, I mean that when I type in a subject, literally heaps of books pop up. The reviews are pretty good, and sometimes they show you a snippet of the book.

When you order, you can see when your order might be delivered which is always good.

The prices as compared to other places is really good, probably the best prices I have found.

I have bought so many cookbooks off this website now, that I wouldn't go anywhere else now. The service is excellent & the range of books is great. They constantly keep you informed of the progress of your order; where it is, when it's due, etc,.
As a member, you can also earn Fishpond credits towards purchases, by being the first to review products, & you also have the opportunity to sell your own books, DVD's or CD's, which for me has been so handy, because I always get cookbooks for Xmas & birthdays, & often end up with 2 or 3 copies of something-or-other.
Their after sales service is also faultless, so if you're not already a member, join up now. I highly recommend them!!

I have needed to purchase some high priced books and found Fishpond to have the best price. The Internet order delivery takes a few days but within their advised delivery time.
