I've been in the area a long time (30 years) and and frequent a few of the fish and chip shops locally.This is the best one at the moment..They make their own potato cakes.So if you ask for 4 you may end up getting 7 smaller size ones. Great Hamburgers too.

It's pretty good. The fish is generally thicker, the chips are bigger than it's nearest rivals and the owners look like they have been in Australia for more than a fortnight.

Ok...so this place has only recently been taken over by new owners. Gotta say...been there quite a few times now...and consistently great! Chicken schnitzel burger was amazing...steak sandwich an awesome buy..and the chips are well cooked. The fish my partner tells me is good...and a thorough selection...whether grilled or fried.

I ordered grilled fish there tonight and it came BATTERED and then grilled. What. the. hell? I have never had to specify at any fish and chip shop I have ever been to, that I want my grilled fish UNbattered. I called and queried it when I got home and realised and was basically told too bad because I didn't say I didn't want it battered. Well that was just lovely of them because it left me without dinner since I can't actually eat flour as I am gluten intolerant. Needless to say, I won't be back, there are several other fish and chip joints that grill fish unbattered without you asking. I can't even imagine people without gluten intolerance would want to eat battered grilled fish to be honest, the whole concept of mystifies me.

This is a great fish and chip shop, the serving sizes are good, fish is always nice and $3.30 chips is more than enough for 3 people in my opinion. The chips are nice, not greasy and everything is good value for money.

This is a great little Fish and Chip shop. Good value for money, average sizes. Also has a soft drink fridge too. Service is ok, and they are quick to make your order. Awesome Hamburgers!!!
