Cannot fault the service at Fix-a-Phone. Repairs are always conducted in a timely manner, and to a high standard. I have taken my laptop to be fixed a number of times (because the power socket is faulty, not because the repairs didn't work!). The team of technicians were able to tell me the root cause and provided me with sound advice.
Also check out the retail space in the new shop at 220 Glen Huntly Road (just a few shopfronts down from where they were!) - it's a great space.

I took my mobile phone in to get a quote on a repair. I then decided not to go ahead because found that the repair could be done under my warranty. However, due to miscommunication between the customer service rep and the technicians, the company had gone ahead and done the job without my permission. They accepted that this was a mistake and offered to do the job for half the quoted price. Annoying in itself because I probably could have gotten it for free under my warranty! (Which is now void due to having my phone repaired by an unauthorised dealer).

I accepted this because what else could I do? The job was already done! Got my phone back and the job was not done properly so took it back to get it fixed. Have now received it back again and the problem is worse than before I took it in originally! To top it off, because I have taken it in to an unauthorised service centre, my warranty is now void! I'm stuck with a broken phone. They have offered to refund the price of the repair but really they owe me a new phone as far as I'm concerned.

Approximate cost: $90 (originally $140 but discounted due to error)
