Great service

I had two manual roller shutters where the straps needed replacing. Gordon was very prompt in replying to my enquiry. His charges were extremely reasonable and his quote fully inclusive of everything. He arrived on time and was done within 30 minutes. He was professional and knowledgeable. I was looking for someone who fixed roller shutters but wasn't associated with a roller shutter provider/installer because they were just as pushy about the repair enquiry as they are about selling you roller shutters. Gordon was a breath of fresh air!

I rang "Mr Rollershutter", they quoted me $339 to repair 3 x Manual Roller Shutters. I booked them in, no-one confirmed appointment so I rang them, they advised could not come, so booked a 2nd appointment, again no-one confirmed so I rang to be told again we can't come, thus told them to forget it.

I then contacted a Repairer on the Internet who quoted me $780 to repair 3 x manual Roller Shutters (included $150 call out fee), needless to say I never contacted them again.

I then rang Gordon from Fix a Shutter, for a quote to replace 3 x manual Roller Shutters + service the remainder electronic shutters. His quote was reasonable ($260), he turned up on the day and at the time scheduled, he was very professional, experienced, tidy and clean and fixed/serviced all Shutters.

I have no hesitation in recommending Gordon from Fix a Shutter and happy to do so, Gaby Belmont Area

I've had roller shutters on my windows to all my bedrooms since 2007 now and even though they have been working fine - my fear was if they breakdown who will I get to repair them as I didn't want to go back to the supplier to ask them to service the shutters (as I had a relatively bad experience with the supplier and their sales tactics) - as such I've been looking for someone to have handy in case one of my roller shutters stopped working.

I'm pleased say - I found Gordon from Fix a Shutter very easy to deal with but not only that - he is very knowledgeable in shutters too - taking him no time to fix a problem with my shutter. To top it off Gordon's rates were very reasonable. In addition and while talking to Gordon I found out he also supplies roller shutters too (doesn't just repair them) so I asked him to quote for 3 more for the side of the house that gets all the afternoon sun and to my surprise his charge was about 50-60% cheaper than I paid for the ones I had installed by another business.

I have no hesitation in recommending Fix a Shutter (and Gordon) to anyone - very punctual, knowledgeable and affordable.

I'll be using Fix a Shutter again to repair any problems I have with my roller shutters and will be sure to have Gordon install any new ones I buy for the house in the future.
