We had arrived after the office was shut and made a call to the owners mobile phone and organised a booking immediately. As we arrived after hours and left before hours, we left the money in a letterbox with our number. Very friendly staff and happy to help considering we were just needing somewhere to stay whilst we were on a long journey. Highly recommended.
Approximate cost: $60
I called late in the day and was still able to get in for the night,so overall service was great. Toilets etc clean.But they need a bigger camp kitchen for campervan/tent people i found this frustratingly crowded and the young backpackers taking over the tables for card games and drinking, not suitable for family with kids. Also site was right at the back and got woken up early with noise from adjoining boat business plus road noise. I won't stay there again as $18 is too much for a non-powered site with such a small camper kitchen, they need to make it bigger and another area for backpackers who want to sit around.

Hi thanks for your review and sorry for the late reply but we only found this site today :) From the review we are not sure that you were at Flametree Tourist Village as the only thing that we back onto is the small air field which only runs when there are tours, and they can start from about 7.30am in the morning. And the rd is at the front of our park. Hopefully next time you will come out to stay. Thanks again Flametree Tourist Village
No this is correct, I had a look at your website and I remember the camp kitchen, we were to the right and there was some sheds there behind the fence. I should have left a more positive review because is was a nice enough park just I did not get a good spot and it was very busy at the time. I was very tired at the time and did not get a good sleep, but my thoughts on the camp kitchen remain.
very well maintained tropical setting pet friendly close to bay and shopping has courtesy bus toilets extremely clean owners very nice and kind people very helpful with local knowledge very pleased
