Took my Apple 5C to have a smashed screen repaired. After 3 weeks the screen went blurry and lined. Took it back to Foneguru and was told it was nothing to do with the replacement screen and they reckoned the phone had been damaged since they replaced the screen and the LCD digitiser would have to be replaced for a further $139.00. This was not the case so I took it to a reputable repairer and they replaced the screen with another screen and now it works fine. I urge everyone to go elsewhere and pay a few dollars more to get the job done properly.

Approximate cost: $139.

I took my Sony Xperia z3 to be repaired front and back costing $280 on Tuesday 19th January. I distinctly remember them handing the phone to me with the back glass still a little loose which the repairman glued saying "you will not get a problem with this". Within 3 days the glass at the back of the phone was already peeling off causing a crack.

I took the phone back to Foneguru to say this is not on, you should not be spending hundreds of dollars to get a defected item within 3 days. I was told either they will glue it back or you will need to pay another $40 to fix (reduced from $65) which is poor business.

EDIT: Foneguru gave me a completely new back screen. Good move on their part but not the best of experiences.

Approximate cost: $280

Took my Samsung Galaxy s3 to foneguru in wynyard on Monday, Sept 21. They repaired the device for $165. 2 days later a shard appeared across the entire screen of glass. The phone was not dropped so it was obvious that the phone was repaired with a defective glass from the outset. I took it to him today, Tuesday sept 29 and he refused to fix it. When I told him I would complain to the dept of fair trading - he told me in explicit language to leave the shop - repeatedly. He's pretty much the epitome of the shonky businessman. Overpriced and carefree. Do not go there

I have used these guys twice (last time my IPhone was not charging) - they are very honest, do a good job and do not rip you off. I would recommend then to all those who are looking for a professional repair at a reasonable price.

Approximate cost: $40

I recently had my Samsung Galaxy S3 repaired at FoneGuru (Wynyard Ramp). My phone wasn't charging and the USB Connector needed to be repaired. I dropped it off 9am and my phone was ready for collection, same day before 5pm, and the cost was very reasonable. This business is well recommended.

Approximate cost: $100

I recently gave a water damaged phone to these guys. Mind you previously I had given this phone to Dr Boom mobile repairs at Parrmatta Westfield.
These guys did an excellent job of bringing my phone back to life after it was written off by others.
Good job Foneguru, thank you for your effort.

Approximate cost: $65
