Wrong diagnosis, fault not fixed, constantly asking for more money.

Very disappointed with the service and the follow up. A technician came out to do a service. I pre-paid over $300 for this. The service man said the issue with the flickering screen that does not allow the zoning to occur is due to a faulty control module. After waiting for a long time - due to their unavailability - I pre-paid $673. The technician arrived and took half the time but I was still expected to pay the whole estimated amount. I queried this and also informed that the flickering issue was still not resolved after spending $673! It is Feb now, no response. When I emailed again with video evidence of the SAME issue. I got another generic quote - no calls, no response, just a quote of $231 to change a completely diffferent part.
I am so disappointed that they are just giving me very expensive quotes and the problem is still there with no changes to any outcome since before the peak of summer. We are having to run the unit this hot summer all over the house. The zoning was never fixed in the first place. I reported this issue within a few days from repair. I tried calling a few time and no one answers in service. Is it really acceptable to just keep invoicing clients to pre-pay for a job that is not properly done?

Poor jobs done by the apprentice and was charge technicians rate

I would not recommend Ford and Doonan Kardinya
It’s was a quoted job for 4 hrs x 2 which is 8hours the job was done in less than six hours
The job was done by a apprentice who made his own decisions and did not consult the owner
He also took away two of our controllers and the service apprentice was very poor and rude on the job
We actually had ten zones but the service tech who quoted the job counted 8 either the technician cannot count or was learning the job

tred to get a quote from mthese people and recieved an email on 28th Feb advising very busy but would call on the 8th March , 18th March and still no call, so rang head office and tried to speak to someone there , got will call you back , 24th March still no call back, trying to spend about 15-20K on new system but just not interested, wondering why the advertise when they cannot be bothered to call people back. what a waste of time !!

Wondering how they can justify a $210 call out fee, when all they did was have a look and told me I would be called back. 15min of "work". Not happy.

I am a builder who uses Ford And Doonan. I had an issue regarding the Air-con unit which was the builders fault and Lianna from Ford And Doonan Installs Department was extremely helpful and organized the issue to be fixed the same day. An extremely happy Builder and customer.
Great service and a lovely and professional person to deal with.

Had a new air con installed by Ford and doonan for the second time, again just a really good experience. They arent the cheapest but you get what you pay for. Easy to deal with from quoting, to accounts, to install

I would not recommend them to anyone. Telephone manners very rude. I complain to them and no one call me back ! Price; will ripped you off. My 5 year’s old daikin need to change pbc part, for them to have a look at it over $200 and to fit the part (10 min job) will set me back $340. Over $500 to change small pbc board. Over the top $$$

AVOID!
On two separate occasions our air-conditioning unit has been damaged during a routine maintenance service carried out by this company. The unit was working perfectly prior to servicing but would not work at all after servicing. The first time the damage was caused when the company sent an unaccompanied apprentice out to carry out the service. On this latest occasion the service was carried out by one of their 'experienced technicians'. The company is quick to take your money but slow to fix the problems that they cause. Unimpressed with the attitude of the office staff.
