Ate here for the first time as I bought a voucher ($29 for dinner for 2 with shared garlic bread entree, a choice of main each and a glass or wine or beer each). The place looked a bit run down on the outside and the inside isn't anything flash. But what it lacks in ambiance is made of for by the friendly and prompt service and great value food. I had the salmon with mashed potato and spinach ($19.50 on the specials board) and my partner had the rib eye with pepper sauce,chips and salad ($22-$23 on the menu). Generous portions and yummy too. Not fancy cooking, but certainly a hearty meal. I am hard pressed to think of a place that serves a better value meal. I wish I lived closer to this place and I will happily make it my local!
