I'm a bit sad that I didn't have the experience that the other reviews rave about. I found the prices steep and the produce quality pretty low. I'm a huge fruit lover, and the fruit was average and expensive. The shop is tiny, and quaint, but nothing special.

We have been buying our fruit and veg here for 3 years. It's like going to the markets, but cleaner, friendlier and everything is of a good quality. Prices are very good and service is good.

Franks Fruit Market has been successfully running in Haberfield for many years now, so they understand the importance of providing only the freshest produce to their customers. If you've ever been to the shop, you'll notice that it is in fact quite tiny, but they've managed to organise it in a way that enables a wide variety of fruit and veg to be stocked. Their prices are competitive, and you can often pick up a bargain. The family that runs the shop is really friendly, and will always help you out so that you leave their shop with what you are looking for. I much prefer supporting these local businesses than giving my money to the larger supermarket chains.
