I'll give the staff 2 stars as this staff was the only person that answered the call on a Saturday and promptly came out. That unfortunately is where the good points of the review end. Upon arrival they asked that I remove everything from the fridge and freezer to inspect fans. You could tell the fans were working based on airflow and fan noise but deferred to their judgement. They didn't help remove anything from fridge, the job was time consuming. They then struggled / broke a lug when removing a panel to inspect fan. Once they inspected fans and found they were working they recommended a 48hr defrost of the fridge and that if that didn't work call them back out for "more time consuming and potentially expensive" diagnostics. At this point I raised the point that the error lights on the back panel of the fridge and the number of beeps when opening the fridge door were meant to signify the nature of the fault. They stated that in the vast majority of cases a full defrost was all that is required, I would have appreciated that advice before paying call out fee and hourly rate there after. I said since I have already paid the call out fee they may as well try to do the diagnostics, they stated they didn't have the equipment with them to carry out the diagnostic tests and assured me they wouldn't charge another call out fee if they had to come back out after the defrost. Roll forward 48 hrs. Defrost didn't work. Called the manufactures service people out. They had a fixed call out / labour cost and came out the same day I called. Problem was solved :-) Maybe they think defrost works in majority of cases because people don't get them back for time consuming and expensive diagnostics. I now have a fair idea why they were the only staff members that were not too busy to come out on a Saturday.

We had just moved and with four little kids under my feet my fridge breaks down. Frontline came out and fixed it with a new heating element cost $230. was very nice and came out on day of call. Only 2 months later my fridge broke down again, so I called Frontline to come out again. The non genuine heating element they replaced only two months ago blew. He said that this sometimes happens with the non generic parts, but told me not to worry cause they had a genuine heating element to replace it with. I said to them 'that's all covered under the warranty, I don't have to pay any more right', and they said 'no I will replace it under warranty, but you have to pay $60 for a call out fee'. I asked them why and they said for petrol and stuff... they only came 10min down the road! My fridge is in pieces and they have the new part in his hand and they asked me 'so you want me to fix it or not?' Not happy! Will not use Frontline again!
